Party Merge :: the Ronin / The Democratic Party of Japan

19 Day 931, 01:56 Japan
It may have come to the attention of some that before the election, members of the Ronin party began to migrate towards the Democratic party of Japan.

This is the result of a prolonged period of talks between the two parties, and is aimed at securing the 5th party slot, and hopefully providing a safer, more secure eJapan.
The Democratic Party of Japan has long shared many of the same core beliefs as the Ronin, and a merge takes nothing away from either party.

The name of the Democratic Party will continue. The Ronin will pass into history.
Ronin members need not mourn this passing though, as an organisation - named the Ronin(link) has been created to continue the traditions of the party - reaching out to people through the media, and continuing "the Ronin's Voice" articles in it's newspaper. (link)

This newspaper will accept articles of a similar theme written by any citizen. If you have something to share or pass on, then send it to the organisation, or to Angrr and have it published.

The DPJ has committed to run blockers in every region during congress elections, and whilst any help and support is accepted, we hope that drastic actions will not be taken by other elements in the community to influece the top 5 parties.

All citizens of eJapan looking for more from their political party, consider joining the DPJ - The party for free thinkers.

Here is to a long and succesful future, and the end of a party that meant a lot to myself and some other members. We will not forget the party, because it's spirit lives on in us.

At first glance, I thought your stamp read ガアーン, instead of アンガー... それと意味はちょっと変わりますよねぇ。

People throw the term blockers around too liberally, do you even know what they are for?

I kinda get the impression that you are going to run one in each region or something useless.

Good luck to the new Democratic Party of Japan.

Free thinking should include collective action too.

@clueless wonder - I made it quick, but since then have been thinking I should change it. For some reason I can't recall whether the ー at the end should be horizontal or vertical when written like this...

@Goku Jones - Does that mean that you as you are not completley satisfied by a single sentence stating the intent to try to hold up our side of the bargain and will take action to boot us out?

@Tanaka Fujimori - Agreed. For a "free-thinking" party to take a top-5 position, they must begin to make a difference in the nation. We hope to do so.

@Yonsil - the Ronin is a sage who speaks when he likes and we all must listen.

It's like the opposite of Nowe, who speaks all the time but no-one listens.

I'm just wondering if you know what they do that is all.
Action was taken to reduce the number of members in DPJ at the request of your PP, this will continue as we reach the people we have in DPJ.

@Angrr If you're writing vertically, the ー is also written vertically. Else, you just wrote the 漢字 for '1' instead.

@Clueless Wonder - After I published the article and looked at it, I thought so, but wasn't sure. :p

@Goku Jones - I think that the issue was that there was no communication regarding the people who joined, and that they are largely inactive (hence your inability to contact them quickly and move them out). Had the party requested help - or been kept in the loop, there would be less friction.

What we want to get is an active user base who can deal with the issues raised at congress time. To know precisely how many candidates / blockers we can field, it is important to know who is active and committed to the party, and who is not.
