NOW, MOVING ON:

Congressional Elections

First off, in terms of our performance, I'd like to say thank you to all of the members who spent their time promoting, messaging, and writing about our Congressional Elections, and everyone who voted UKRP. Our goal is to set an example of having involved, intelligent, capable MPs in Congress. We're going to follow a few simple rules that proved effective before:

1. We will require any MPs running for Congress from UKRP to be registered on the forums. In just two days since elections, we've seen a lot of wasted proposals from new or otherwise challenged players trying to amend laws without discussion (be it in game or otherwise). Forum posting, while some might dislike it, has always been effective in curbing this, and we stand by it.

2. We will take part in discussions, but we refuse to rubber stamp anything. If you have a good idea, we'll jump on board, but before we do we're going to ask that you inform us first.

That's pretty much it (for those who will come out and call us useless because, you know, we actually want to be involved, which is why we ran to begin with). We're not going to drag the process out, we are going to make sure anything we vote on is done right.

NOW, LET'S CHANGE AGAIN:

Paratroopers

The UK Paratroopers were the first Military Unit in the eUK. We were here before Erepublik had official military units. In the different phases on the National Military, the name died as people wanted to be SF, then the National Military was disbanded.

Well, we happen to have a Military Unit, and we're going to name them the Paratroopers (once again, if you don't like it, bite me). We're going to offer the following:

1. For all members, we're going to offer 5 Q7 tanks daily (request form can be found here. Our current suppliers (Dnouser and James Scarlet, who will be supplemented by one of our other members if we need to have more coverage) will check it, and send out the tanks as well as wellness as requested.

2. For anyone who comes onto IRC (#UKParatroopers), you'll receive more supplies than the normal request sheet as a bonus for requesting via IRC. Should you request when an Op is not available, we'll give you an additional 2 tanks when we log in!

3. For anyone registered and active both on Forums and IRC, you'll receive 10 Q7 tanks per day!

So, for those who wish to apply, we'll provide wellness and tanks per day, and we'll do bonuses for those who show up to IRC!
