PANAM and EDEN: Partners or rivals - in Japan & Turkey?

Day 1,187, 07:47 Published in Hungary Hungary by Nalaja

In the new distribution of the eRepublik powers, the main question now is the relationship between the rump EDEN (main powers are eRomania, eGreece, eCroatia and eBulgaria) and the PANAM (organized around eUSA and eBrazil). The full cooperation would be beneficial of both alliances, and among the core powers it seems to be operational. Romanian and Croatian troops defend eBrazil, American DoD gives orders to support eCroatia and eRomania. However, the relationship looks much less ideal at the peripheries.

Besides the original eUSA and eCanada, PANAM members are the South-American branch of BIA (the Brazil-Argentinian-Indonesian alliance, whose Indonesian branch does really against the eUSA), the old American ally, eJapan, and two European countries, eFrance and eTurkey. Albeit a member of the EDEN, eChina also keeps close cooperation with the Americans.

Defense against the NWO seems to be working well and more or less succesfully in the Brazilian fronts. However, the members of PANAM get much less effective protection in their conflicts against the EDEN or pro-EDEN states. eTurkey was important at a specific moment for the eUSA, when it could have been a possible corridor the Europe. In the conflict with eGreece, the Turks got no real support, while the SG of the PANAM agreed a humiliating peace treaty, which was immediately refused by the Turks. eFrance finally got some help in the Belgian war, which is not about any French interest, just to make the road of eSerbia to America a bit longer.

The today's development is perhaps more interesting. At the very moment of writing this article, the Romanian PTOed South Korea is about to capture the third original region of eJapan, a founder of the PANAM. eJapan somewhat lost its importance as one of the two passages between Asia and America but it is not explaining why a country is so much forgotten by its allies.
