Our congress has done it again.
They screwed up.
Badly.
I’m talking about this proposal and also Poland’s proposal . We are royally screwed. We can change our NE once every 7 days. Because of some “bored” congressmen who went directly against the CP’s orders, we can’t NE Poland back. That means we don’t get a 10% influence bonus when fighting against the world’s meanest superpower. Wonderful.
The last time I was in congress and the CP tells us to vote down an NE, do you know what congress would do? We’d follow the frigging orders. Not directly oppose the CP. Congress is supposed to be working for the eCanadian People. The CP was elected by us. Half of congress simply bought their way in. So as far as I’m concerned, if the CP orders something to be done, it’s going to be in the best interests of eCanada.
So here we are. Poland is about to invade us and our 10% influence booster is busy becoming best friends with the UK. I’m giving those 27 congressmen who voted ‘Yes’ an incredibly sarcastic round of applause. Those 7 (6+Jacobi I believe) who voted ‘No’, I hope you get re-elected to congress in 5 days. You are reasonable people and are, sadly, the minority in congress.
On a related note, vote for me on the 25th in Ontario under the CPF. You won’t be disappointed.

The only EO that was ordered, which came after the NE proposal, was to not fight the UK on thier turf, there was no EO to not declare the UK a NE

The NE bonus of 10% means nothing.
My Q7 his is 7768 and with a NE it's 8545. The difference is meaningless.
Well it's not. We're talking about Poland (and the rest of ONE or whatever they want to call themselves this week).
Poland alone is 6.5x our size. They wouldn't even have to try to wipe us.

Here's what I think, next election, present a candidate under the coalition that will openly advocate for a wipe of the country in order to generate some fun, that should really go well with the public.
A NE doesn't change shit, but had you actually thought about what would happen, you might have not NE'd the UK.
I doubt anyone will bail you out of this one.
PS: I keep hearing that people will leave canada if you don't get direct conflicts and situation in which you will get wiped. Don't you think people are already leaving so much what you are doing is constantly find yourself in a precarious situation that could have been avoided? Or that everyone keeps getting bullied around for no reason. The mob mentality that is prevailing right now in your country could have something to do with the mass exodus that you enjoy on a daily basis.

jacobi has been a great credit to your nation and like you mention had congress not acted in such a stupid manor poland wouldn't be attacking you now. Lesson's need to be learned, mainly at those stuck in the past.

Jacobi has done well, but with a corrupt congress always trying to invade the UK instead of helping out you allies which is what you should have been doing, you certainly wouldn't been in such a pickle that you are now facing. Let's see who will actually stand by your side since you have not really helped anybody else.

I never spend money on the NHL, since I can't afford to go to the over-priced games, especially the ones in the play-offs, and you could say it has no real consequence to my life as a sport
Yet, I do get excited about it. Some of my Vancouverite neighbours even burn the town down over these inconsequential games. Sometimes wisdom and knowing it's a sport/game that's been sold out to big business doesn't stop people from getting caught up in the tension. Games make us crazy
