Join the new world

Greetings Everyone,

I come to you on a sad day, our founder and glorious forefather of the Canadian Advancement Party will be officially retiring on the 15th of December. Although the party took a leap in members in the first few days, it dwindled slowly, we all can agree on this. The reason for this is no one’s fault, so let’s not point fingers, in reality it was all our fault’s . But we can change that. Even though the above news is saddening, fear not, Bruck has stated that he will remain active in the C.A.P. and offer advice to the new administration.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I ask that you not look at the dark picture, but the bright one. A new beginning for the Canadian Advancement Party, a new start! I am an ordinary man, I've held an ambassador position for near eight months now, I have been in congress once, I would like to ask that you seriously consider me for PP this term, that being said I would like to throw my hat in for the Candidacy for Party President and ask that you read my platform.

I have begun working on organizing the Administration of the party which will be listed below at bottom. I would like to open up some Committee’s, each with different tasks, working like a ministry, that being said perhaps (givin moderator access) reform the Forums so that each Committee has their own sections.

I would also like to say that I have opened up a secondary Org for the party “The Advancement Project” which currently holds around 30 gold in it. This Org is intended to give stable jobs to party members, and offer profits to the party for advertising, new companies, etc.. This Org will be making bi-weekly donations to the Party Org, once it is up and running.

With the new profits gained from this Org, and the different donations that may or may not come in, we will have funds for ads, and moving tickets. Maybe not all we need, but in time we will grow, and with growth, comes more funds. With the Organization of the Committee’s there will be a Committee in charge of Advertising, and one for recruiting, although for the first few weeks or so, these two will be as one, because that is the main task at hand, recruiting.

When the Party’s Organizations have multiple companies, the Industrial Committee will come into effect to replace what the Privy Council will be doing in the beginning of my term. This Committee will ensure that profits are being made from various investments, and as well as being the home of experienced economists, there will be a few spots open for younger honest players.

On the note of new players, I plan to begin a Entrepreneur Training in our party, it would be a good recruiting chip, as many new eCitizens are wanting to learn how to run a business, and here is my proposal, we make a “dummy org” with dummy companies, only two is necessary, even one will do. This will take 25 gold altogether, with this we can allow new eCitizens to take charge of that company, and use their own money to buy raw materials and pay their workers and keep the profits they made. Now you ask “How would a new player have the kind of money to run a business, you need at least 5 – 10 gold to start it off in raw materials and job offers” and I agree with you 100%, that is why the Party will offer loans to its new players who have gone through Business School, which will be opened up here on the Forums. I have a friend who specializes in the Economic Sector, and will ask him to teach this class, I would also like to get Ralph de Ver in on this Idea.

As for the Group Organization of the Party, these Groups will form the Committees when they come into effect, and the Members will be divided into groups so that we are better organized for election time. Here is an example, say 5 days before election, we get a list together of everyone who plans to be on the Voting Corps, we group them into one, or two, it all depends on how many there are, than with Congress we would group them by region (this way would require the groups to be comprised of both the candidate and the voting corps members) or by party (for as long as we are not in top 5, we will need to transfer candidates, so this refers to which party there are in while running for us).

I am also going to Organize the New Players Committee which every player under level 5 will be placed into, unless they ask not to be, here they can ask experienced players any questions, and offer their insight into politics.

I feel that we can turn this Party around and make a bright future for us all, and if anyone ever has any ideas, do not hesitate to bring them up, do not be shy about saying what is on your mind, that is the least you can do for yourself and the party. I plan to have the Party Organized like this:

Advertising Committee –5 – 10 members depending on party size, this Committee will handle recruiting for the beginning.

Recruiting Committee – 5 – 10 members, depending on party size, will come into effect once other Party Programs begin

Economic Committee – 2 – 4 members, may grow if Entrepreneur Training takes off, will come into effect once Party Orgs grow to multiple companies

New Players Committee – Every New Player level 5 and under should be on this Committee.

Party Relations Committee – This committee will be comprised of our ambassadors to other parties and any related positions.

Elections Committee – This Committee will include those running in the next elections. And will be open to all members of the Party

The Council will be in every Committee, just to get things started. The Council is what I will call my “Cabinet”, if you will. It looks incomplete, but any additions will be posted ASAP.
