Organizations in V1
Short history
Banks, lotteries and ministries have appeared in every country. Some were created by presidents to help them administrate their countries and others by regular citizens to make their mark in the New World. In order to help citizens, the “organization” structure was implemented.
What is an organization?
An organization is based on a citizen profile, with some rights restricted and others added instead.
List of restricted rights:
- cannot train, nor fight
- cannot be politically involved, cannot be a party member, cannot own a party, and cannot vote
- cannot be part of country administration
- cannot register/login as another organization
- cannot have Experience Points
- cannot send invitations
- cannot be hired/work
- cannot have wellness, doesn´t eat (doesn't have a house and does not have the "human" wellness avatar on the left of the page).
The "To Do" list on the home page is not available for organizations.

- Organizations can stockpile raw materials

You can create an organization following the link from My places - Organizations.
Requirements:

Cost - 5 Gold
What happens with SOs from beta?
In order to transfer SOs from beta to V1 (as organizations), each citizen that has created an SO in beta must send us a message from their SO account using the Contact form (subj: Others). If you fail to do this by the 15th of December, we will have to ban the old SO account.
What are the advantages of having an organization?
Organizations can be administrated by more than one citizen and are the basic structure for holdings or other types of administrative structures. The owner’s imagination is the only limit to an organization’s use. Besides this, administrating an organization instead of an extra citizen avoids the risk of getting banned for multi accounting.

That means that an organization cant become a president, minister, etc. But I think that the president can have one, but only citizen can be part of country adm.

@sciamenna: You as an user have the possibility to access My places > Country administration and if you are a member of congress or the country president several actions and law proposals can be started from that page. An organization cannot be political involved. Is up to you how you think these types of entities can help administrate the country accounts.
I am glad that you have adopted the line of taking our advice, but I would imagine things to go faster if you notified your intentions *before* actually implementing anything. Retroactive fixing is slow and forces you to rewrite the code while us users are annoyed if the system does not work in practice.
Any comments on the new war system, by the way? I saw a distturbingly high cost of war in the eWiki. I would suggest that the price of war is reduced as it should be made a lucrative option, and many countrie can't pay the price as it is now.
Perhaps a fixed price for the war declaration itself and in addition you pay a price determined by the amount of population in the *province* you are about to attack? Please don't use the region word anymore as it is misleading in many cases.

Well, I am starting to get nervous, it has been a bit of a time since I messaged yall(the admins) about my SO from Beta and I haven't heard anything back. I know you are busy but, why make the date so early if you can't get to messages?

@Erwin Schauman: How does a country print money, by the way? - Right now is a pretty complex way to do that. Each time you donate currency to an Organization you actually print money. Today, we'll have a meeting where we'll debate upon this and try to come up with the best solution fast.
Any update on the problem with my SO account?
Short version: I can't login on my SO "Maxii Corporation SO" because of a fatal error. I've used the contact form twice so far (I haven't been able to login since day one of V1, soon to be 3 weeks).

@atilaa: As a citizen, you cannot buy raw materials from the marketplace, but an organization can.
If I make a Company in Raw Materials and one in Manufacturing. Can I transfer raw materials from the first to the second (without placing them on the market )???
organizations can buy unlimited amount of raw materials??? My organization only has 10 slots in its inventory... 10 units of raw material is useless

since switching to V1 I sent at least 15 messages using the contact form: not ONE reply!
I sent 5 time a message reporting "Soimii Patriei" as a SO: NO answer, the account is still a citizen account!
I also sent messages complaining that I can't use the contact form in my organization accounts because the required "Real Name" field is empty and cannot be edited.
of course: NO reply! problem still persists!
I also complained about the wellness. (I have Q4 house and Q1 food: wellness increases with 4 points a day). NO reply! Problem persists!
as a request: when are the GM's of company's going to get information about the employee's productivity? without this you can't know if a guy deserves the salary or not!
Running a company without important data like productivity statistics, production costs etc. is like driving a car blind-folded.
As a possible bug: if I'm logged as a Organization and I try to donate raw materials to a company, I can only donate money or items in my Org. inventory. How can I actually donate raw materials?

This is a SO account, i asked to convert it into an Organization but it's still a normal user... please do something...
Good to see that you are planning changes on the congress election system I personally think it was good enough as it was before, when the party president chose the order of members, and the highest ranked members got a seat in congress, based on the votes given to the party. I do not see any problem with the system as it was in Beta (except for that you could see how many votes each party had got. The best thing here would be to not release any results before 00.00 the next day, when elections are over).

Dear Admins,
Would be a good improvement if you create an option to let different users manage a company or organization without to share the password to the Org account.
For example: I create an Org and i give powers to user 2 and user 3. User 2 can create new companies and User 3 can put the products of my company in the market, and hire/fire workers.
Actually when you share the password you have the risk that if one of your partners get mad and change the password you will lost the account and nobody will help you.
So i think that will be a good idea if you create that option of multiple management.

What does "queue" mean? Does it mean units? If yes so .... OMG!!!
Why you don't inform us before making changes? It's making all of my companies go bankpurt! For example:
1) In beta I tried to employ more employees by the contribution of some company owners. I paid about 40 Gols to them but in less than 2 weeks in v1 you changed the production formula. I was paying high salaries but against my company productivity incredibly decreased! When I found, it makes me to fire 50 employees!! and now my company is bankpurt.
2) I was planned to reach hospital units to 1900 then upgrade it to Q5 but due to your recent decision I had to choose between "losing more than 1000 Q4 hospital units" or "making another Q4 hospital" that no country need it!! OMG!!!

A normal account that was usually shared and used to run companies/governmental organisations.

Oh really? I've sent like 4-5 such messages and also posted on the forum topic " BETA "SO" IN NEED OF BECOMING V1 ORGANISATION" and nothing happened so far...
This will be a seroius problem for those SO:s whose board are elected through voting in good democratic order, like the Swedish Labour Union or the Swedish Police. They are not tied to a specific person but get their management appointed through a voting procedure. So, as I see it, admins, this will undermine democracy in eRepublik.
ORGS are still seperate account with seperate username/passwords so can still be run as before.

Since Parties do no have, anymore, a press release system is it possible to create a Party Organization Account?
I know that an organization cannot be party involved, but if we want a way to keep all parties' communications we don't have any. The president can always make the press release on his own newspaper, but if the president changes?
Can parties create an Organization Account just to have a newspaper for press releases?

I have a few questions/issues that will no doubt affect many countries.
It is said that the Org can be a "holding", therefore accessed by more than 1 citizen.
In Canada, there are 5 Government SO's. So whom should these Org's "belong to", if they are in fact the property of the Government of Canada and not an individual citizen?
What steps are required to keep this vital part of a countries administration? I take it that it would be this;
1. To begin with for a transfer to an Org from SO, the current President (who would be me if the admins finally get around to impeaching Banach and replacing me) would use the Contact->Others form and declare all SO's to be then converted to Orgs. I'd also include a list of who will be accessing these Orgs (Ministers, for example).
2. Then, as a new President is elected in 10 days time or so (I'm not running), so the Cabinet of Ministers will change. So each time a change is required, will the President need to send a message to the Admins providing the changes (ie updated Cabinet Ministers accessing Orgs).
This would also be the case when a Cabinet Minister is replaced mid-term, correct?

Good, but should be improved!
Why the need of logout and login??? This is anoying and couses troubels. It should be used from within the logged in user who has created the organisation.
