Oraizan Support
Tohru
I am here to announce my formal support of Oraizan. Due to a lack of candidate the SOS Brigade wanted to endorse, I have been allowed to give support to the person of my choice. That person, is of course, Oraizan.
This is not so much the SOS Brigade as a whole supporting Oraizan, as it is me. It is solely my action. This action also is signifying my separation from my former party of the Imperial Sun Party. It is going in a direction I do not like; my own party I founded, and lead for eight months, no longer is anything I represent or support. From now on, I will be belonging entirely to the SOS Brigade. This is what this action of supporting Oraizan is for.
Oraizan, I feel, is the best candidate for President of Japan. Her abilities are unparalleled, yet she is never given a chance, and all her skill is tossed aside and ignored, as she herself is told that she was only even in position because of her popularity. I am tired of that. I will not sit by and let the best option for Japan be passed up a second time because of silly excuses.
I thank Fae for allowing me to do this, and wish Oraizan all the luck in the world.

Hurray for you! Nice to see your party is taking the road less traveled.
"I think his criticism of Tohru is somewhat valid. It was quite selfish, the recent attitude adopted by Tohru, but she did get over it and change, and that is good."
I never said it was wrong, but they way he brought it forth was not right. That kind of comment should be made either in private or not at all.
"Not all criticism will be something you like to hear, that's what makes it valuable. I know rude, I can be quite rude when I wish, and that was not rude."
Harsh words does not always make something rude. When you type something you leave a tone to your words, and he has shown that. Criticism is one thing and being bitter is another.
"All this talk of giving up on the country, it's weak. It does not encourage support for your cause, it drives people further away."
I have not said that I am leaving. I have said that there are many that have or are thinking about it.
"I know what you mean, you mean a certain small and very specific segment of the population. But if the concern is Japan as a whole, Japan is healthier now than ever."
Well, not really. Yes there is not many in the media but that does not mean they don't exist in a large number. Actually many of them used to be very active and they stopped recently. Even losing half the population wouldn't hurt Japan right now, that doesn't mean that we should push them away. Every person counts, old or young, so that attitude where it won't hurt Japan is wrong. I'm sure if somebody like Tohru left there would be many very sad people.
I stepped out of line, for a certainty. Those who needed to read this have done so. So let it be known that I posted a comment flowing with sudden disgust - and perhaps a sprinkle of bitterness - that should have been saved for a private message. But hate, there is not. Inappropriate perhaps, poorly worded and silly, even, but - still constructive in my humble opinion. If I offended any citizen or made them want to leave our great nation, please accept my apology.
At the time, immediately after reading the article however, I felt it was justice.
The comment will be deleted. Those who wish to read it please contact me.
Sure, in theory you want everyone to be happy, in reality that will never happen. The changing political landscape in Japan turns some people off, and it attracts others. Before,t here were people who were turned off by the people holding power at the time who are giving Japan a second chance. But that's anecdotal, what is real is the steady population increase ever since the North Korean immigration, which is what I'm pretty sure you reference when you tall about changing political atmosphere. There is more participation than ever, more citizens than ever, I don't see how that can be construed to be a negative thing.
Thank you Tanaka. 🙂
