Operation Two Fold Bay - zaneys retort
zaney
There are two perspectives I want to comment on this:
Join Eden: Needlessly throw our lands back to Indonesia. Indonesia just defeated USA and are now letting them take their lands back from russians and friends.
Get every former PEACE member to join and then I'll consider it an option.
--
Join Eden in purely 'peace keeping': Why can't we do that with sol? If we're only defending, then why can't we stay in sol and just join the battles with fellow sol nations.
Why not improve the relations between us and our true neighbours. Why defend USA interests when our own are right here in our backyard.
Australia has been taking its first baby steps at an organised expansion in to 'world affairs'. We've defended Japan against the Theocrats... through our local alliance.
Is the pull of USA interests really that strong that we could possibly listen to its call when it offers us nothing in reality?
I publically call Cottus on acting not in eAustralias best interests.
Please don't tell me old friend that you've gone back to being an eCanadian and turning your back on eAustralia...........again
The issue of Australias complacency in the worl
😛
Let's not go out and touch and explore the world at the pace and requirements of the eUSA.... Are we going to be American slaves in this game just as we are in real life?
We can expand at our pace, how we want.
IT IS TIME TO GET OUT THERE AND PARTICIPATE IN eWORLD EVENTS but we can't do that under the heavy foot of "EDEN" or PEACE.
I say we make something out of sol.
I say we join with our neighbours
I say we show the world that South East Asia isn't just Indonesia!!
I say this day we chose our OWN path and shrug off the shackles of PEACE and EDEN!

"Is the pull of USA interests really that strong that we could possibly listen to its call when it offers us nothing in reality?"
Since when is the US in EDEN...
(European Defense and economic network)
I'm the president and no one told me. Also the US is an observer in SOl so I would say we do more pulling there. Just a thought!
I COMPLETELY AGREE!!!
It is more logical to make peace with neighbors than some nation on the other side of the world
eUSA came to liberate eGreece, at 100% their own cost, and in return when we told them we wish to remain netural they respected our decision 100%.
We signed an MPP with them, and with this MPP they have helped us continue to defend our original regions. In fact, they even diverted their own citizens to fight in Greece even though their own regions were under attack.
I was very surprised at how eUSA treated us as equals, even though we were about 10% of their size and strength at the time. It's good to have friends like this.
Definitely not that kind of "friends" that occupy your country and tell you you dont deserve your original regions (much like an abusive husband who convinces his wife she deserved the beating :/)
eAustralia has great potential in this game. Of this I am sure. And by great potential I don't mean going out and attacking regions. But rather become a country that starts being respected by all nations, big and small.
Good luck to my eAustralian friends and eGreece is here to lend a helping hand should you ever need one.

I support this article 100%
I don't want this great country to end up like North Korea 😑
But of course, Yatuiig, being eIndonesian, would have interests in WA. (:
Solmaxxx
Agreed. Nice one zaney.
we cant stay in sol because it just makes us slaves to peace, like aha and columbia
One reason I left eAustralia was to join Eden.
I think we missed a huge chance a few weeks back to snatch back WA.
Agreed Zaney.
Lets not throw away all we have worked for in these past months
I like the combination of concepts covered by zaney and cottus. that we act to reclaim occupied lands, and that a good vehicle to achieve this that should be attempted first is the SOL alliance and our regional connections. Is there a reason why we can't foster connections with other alliances through SOL?
As to yatuiig, your posts on this topic sound at once plaintive and greedy. There are alternatives to conquest in overcoming any shortcomings in access to resources, although they may not be as popular to the war mongerers.
I should say that should the circumstances persist with WA, I am likely to temporarily emigrate in order to assist in the resistance against PEACE (whatever little effect this might have)
Indonesia just defeated USA and are now letting them take their lands back from russians and friends.
That's one hell of a comment there zaney. So you are saying Russia letting the USA beat them, because Indonesia says so? Even if it were true, it's another example that Indonesia abuses their position of privilege.
"Australia has been taking its first baby steps at an organised expansion in to 'world affairs'."
zaney, you led the charge against Indonesia.
You and I were pivotal in the liberation itself and the Agreement for our 1st regions.
We've negotiated all but WA off Indonesia.
Are any of these baby steps? Why are we reverting back to baby steps when we acted so boldly (and successfully) in the past?
Take a good look at the USA/Russia war, and click the DETAILS tab to see the history of who's done what damage - and you'll see this isn't about eUSA at all - it's a massive fightback by non-PEACE nations to end their tyranny;

THANK YOU ZANEY. VOICE OF REASON!!!
CA we act with baby steps now because we actually have something to loose. As much as i would like to see eAustralia completed, im not going to throw it away by agravating what is essentially our greatest safety net.
i say we look to SoL and participate through there, rather then doing what the US / EDEN want and putting our country at risk.
Che Greco +1
If you want to take a stand against PEACE, I agree do it as Sol, Australia isn't EDEN or Fortis. If Australia chooses EDEN or Fortis then how can it stay it is sticking by its own path.
"Why defend USA interests when our own are right here in our backyard." Do you forget, zaney, that eUSA was a big player in the original liberation of eAustralia in the first place? I agree that we should stand on our own two feet, but we should not despise the people who helped set us free enough to stand. If we can help the people that have helped us - we should.
BUT
First we must occupy WA, and we should pull out all the stops to get it back.
Oh yeah, I forgot that we would get our asses kicked by Indonesia. I don't think we're strong enough to take on Indonesia unless we get a whole lot of allies. Indonesia would know that we're up to no good if we decide to join EDEN, then they might just attack us.
I wonder if all this talk is related to upcoming elections. 😒
@Che Greco
ofcourse eUS is so kind and caring to your country.
eGreece is their primary source of iron. 😛
Sol in the world!
Sol in Australia!
We NEED to solidify our Iron industry before we can think about an invasion. We cannot be defendant on foreign resources. Raise the import tax to 99%.
Dare to struggle Dare to win
🙂
nice article
Fernald Industries: In times of war, you would need to *decrease* the Iron import tax, not increase it.
last time i checked, PEACE is kinda having a tough run currently. on more country and they just might be sent over the edge. sadly this isn't my choice, it's only the president's choice. i just hope he makes the right one, and makes it VERY soon
Zaneymaxx just doesn't cut it anymore 🙁
/me heads off to consider a new, appropriate superlative...
While I don't disagree with your opinions on why not to join Eden/Fortis, at the same time I don't want to see eAustralia go anywhere near affiliating with PEACE. As some guy said before me, the war in eUSA isn't about Russia vs. USA, in fact the Americans are only doing a fraction of the damage against PEACE.
It's clear that there's plenty of countries who are resisting the heavy-handed rule of PEACE, and I think that Australia should be one of them - members of Eden/Fortis or not.
