Operation Eagle Drop
Thunderclaw
We started with an idea. That idea became the plan for Operation Eagle Drop!
A couple of others and I were on IRC chatting. We decided to help out the eUS. Not by fighting (although we did) but by making a plan. A plan to message every single person living in the eUS yet not in California or Florida, our only two Q5 hospital states. We composed the following generic message that YOU can send out to other people to move to CA or FL:
"Hello, I'm a citizen wanting to help a fellow citizen. I noticed that you are currently living in (insert state here), which doesn’t have a Hospital, meaning you can’t heal yourself after a battle. I suggest you move to California or Florida as both of these states have Q5 hospitals and can heal you 50 wellness points after fighting. Contact DanielCD if you need help getting a moving ticket. The reason for me helping you is because the eUSA needs every single person to help out and in your current state, you wouldn’t be able to. Please message me back as soon as possible.
As I have noticed that you are a relatively new citizen, I would be happy to answer any questions you may have. You have to be level 5 to fight. In case you did not know, after every fight, you lose 10 wellness and then you may use the hospital in your state. So in your current state, you wouldn’t be able to fight at all. In the states mentioned above, you would be able to fight 5 times and get 10 experience points.
Also, as a last note, make sure you read the news and find out where to fight. Sometimes you may have to fight in other countries instead of eUSA. Subscribe and check these newspaper everyday:

So far, we have PMed everyone in Hawaii, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
WE NEED ALL THE HELP WE CAN GET!
Today we will be working on Alaska. If you decide to help us, please Message me first, so we don't all message the same people 5 times.

A good effort that needs to be done from time to time. Good luck!

Good luck!
Very good idea. The government should help more with this.
Apparently they are doing it but everyone helping out would be much faster and more efficient.
Awesome stuff, voted.
Adoya!!!!!!!!
I messaged a level 1 in New York
I've sent this to every one of my employees.
Excellent work.
I have mass-messaged the wastelanders a few times myself; sometimes with hired help, sometimes alone. The positive response rate is terrible, well under 1%, while there are easily ten times as many angry replies each time. Nonetheless, it is worth it. Every time someone does this, we net a couple of folks for the fortress states. Gradual accumulation is better than nothing.
If DanielCD starts running low on funds, I will always gladly provide a free ticket to any wastelander who contacts me. I already hand out over 20 each week; I am always willing to hand out more.
Kudos on your idea. 🙂

Voted. With all the everyone in a proper fortress state we can do some major damage.
Awesome idea! I am also willing to pitch in a few tickets for this from my q1 ticket company.
Great idea! 😃
Voted and awesome. I do sort of the same but with newcomers in companies.
voted.... shame I don't have time to spare...
vote/sub Good work!
A piece of advice since we eCroats have a lot of experience in moving people to the designated regions where they are needed. Use as much links as possible, contact them more than once, add them on your friend list and be creative cause that's the only way you'll catch their attention.

I currently live in North Carolina but am willing to move to FLA if somebody will send me a moving ticket. I have fought a few times but obviously cannot be effective. I am gratefull for any help and will pass on the same once established.
Keep in mind the flying unicorn squadron. I'm pretty cash poor so I can't afford to pass out tickets, so I refer newbs to the org and they useally have a ticket before the end of the day. Keep up the good work. 🙂
good idea, but there are some communes out north that depend on the resources out there and bring in more money for the gov't than they could in fl and ca. eUS should reinforce one more base with high resources in addition to ca and fl
Nice, Voted!

~ Ticket sent. 🙂

I think it would sort of be fun to message the same person twice 🙂
If all you are doing is transporting people to get well after combat, this is unobjectionable. If you are continuing to depopulate 48 of the states and make them expendable, this is vile and wrong. Give 'em a two way ticket, to and from their states of origin, so that this nation can get well. Ya'll know that Daddy Warbucks MacFarland has the scratch to get this done.
Samuel Seabury
@Samuel Seabury: We know who you are, you don't have to sign all your posts. Also - There's no reason to live in non-fortress states and we can't afford to expand our infrastructure. Don't you want our country to survive and remain productive?
This is a great effort because it reaches out. It Dan and Max run out of money, remember the government operates the Flying Unicorn Squadron for this very purpose. You should send people there. 😃
Just sent tickets to 2 more people today, and was happy to do so 😉
Payed for them with my own salary.
I'm hopefuly gonna join. I messaged Thunderclaw.
Are there plans in the works to build more q5 hospitals and defense in other states and continue expanding the defensive areas. With the number of people we have in the US we could have 10-15 states that are hubs with hospitals and defense systems that would be able to protect the other 40 states. We are no longer on the defensive we need to think about maintaining all our borders not just Florida and California.
The only question, why do you have only 2 Q5 hospitals?
What sort of success have you seen so far?
awesome, you will have my help! V
voted and subbed ofc
Thank you for your service, Max.
To Phineas Siver an others sking why we don't expand our hospital system:
The United States practices what is called the 'fortress strategy' which calls for crowding maximum population into very few defensive areas, in this case FL and CA. The reason for this is to maximize the defensive bonus of these states thus making them INCREDIBLY expensive to attack and difficult to conquer.
The US has more natural regions in this game than any country in the world. Essentially, we are the 'largest' country on the map, and as a result, it would be easy for us to spread out and diffuse our effectiveness. Placing more ifnrastructure would give our enemies more valuable targets in our open areas and would encourage people to move away from the fortresses. Because there is NO reason to live elsewhere, we employ this strategy to great effect - it saves our butts during WWIII.
I've gotten an overwhelming response with more than 20 people volunteering to help out!
@Komjatius & Phinehas Siver: There is no need to build more hospitals because a) it cost a lot of gold, gold which could be used to distribute weapons instead b) it would spread out our population, meaning we would lose more people if we lost a state c) it makes CA and FL harder to attack if there are more people in them.
I have doing something similar with my org, glad to see people have similar ideas, best of luck
I can give out some tickets if funds get low
why not build more hospitals instead of move everybody.
tx an al seem to be the mos populated areas not under a hospital.
@max - what kind of nasty response could they have? It is hard to imagine someone staying in the wastelands
@Silver seabury - what possible benefit is there to living outside cali/fla? you can work anywhere and fight anywhere in the country from there.
Otto- most people who play the game live in cali/fla because those are the only states where you can keep 90+ wellness. If you see a large population elsewhere, then those players are probably inactive because the game doesn't benefit people in those states, and building infrastructure there would be a waste because those players that arent active would not benefit. and it would spread out our active population. It hurts to say it, but losing a few states for a few days does not negatively affect our country. It is part of the game, and actually benefits us sometimes.
Bad Idea !
USA is not Florida and California.
Why don't we raise founds and try to buy other hospitals for this country ?
