ONE proves true to its Phoenix heritage

Some people seem surprised by the "sudden" decision of Turkey to change her set of alliances.
The loudest ones to call the Turks backstabbers are:
1. The Serbs, who alienated Bulgaria back in Phoenix's times, when they supported Macedonia's membership into Phoenix;
2. The Hungarians, who also supported Macedonia over Bulgaria, forcing Bulgaria to leave Phoenix;
3. The Poles, who betrayed EDEN 8 months ago, giving the word backstabbing a whole new dimension;
4. The Spaniards, the other backstabbers who betrayed EDEN 8 months ago and who always opposed Turkish membership in ONE.
The Bulgarians were forced to leave Phoenix after their so-called allies used them and abused them over and over again. And when the time came to choose between Bulgaria and Macedonia, they told the Bulgarians to go and screw themselves.
The Turks were forced to cut their ties with ONE after their so-called allies used them and abused them over and over again. And when the time came to choose between Turkey and Iran, they told the Turks to go and screw themselves.
If anybody betrayed, it was Phoenix who betrayed Bulgaria.
If anybody betrayed, it was ONE who betrayed Turkey.
Is there any wonder everybody gets fed up with Poland, Spain, Serbia and Hungary?

Bulgaria left and made peace and signed an MPP with Romania.
Now the Hungarian president told he supports Turkey, and he did after your USA and Cypriot MPP. Turkey left and made an MPP with Croatia

Well, look at the facts:
1. A year ago, Turkey helped Bulgaria to get her first colonies, in Iran.
2. In the last 4 months the Turks kept their Non-Aggression Pact with Bulgaria when Turkey and her allies were much stronger than EDEN + Terra. That allowed Bulgaria to expand to the south of Ukraine, a territory which had interesting resources for Turkey as well. But the Turks valued their given word more than they valued the resources.
3. The Turks were treated badly by their so-called allies, just like the Bulgarians were treated badly, by the same people.
So yes, there are Real Life issues making the Turkish-Bulgarian relations difficult. But at least the Turks proved to behave honorably towards Bulgaria in this game.

Just a little correction. It is called FYROM, not Macedonia.
mihail.cazacu: I agree with this, but it`s the same Reason like this to leave Phoenix and it`s a big problem for more then 50% from us. Same situation in Greece ..... I agree that`s just a game ( bad one ), but most of the people, who played it mix it with RL .... Sad but ..... That`s way we muss be clearly what our people wish!

About some comments from Bulgarians; I don't really understand why Bulgaria hates Turkey SO much. I really don't. We are like your sworn enemies. Why? I mean I'd understand (not approve) if that was Greece, but Bulgaria? Why man? What dispute Bulgarians and Turkish have in RL? The biggest number of foreign citizens living in Turkey are Bulgarians and they are very welcome here. In your media is it said otherwise?
we don't have that much issues with Bulgarians in RL actually.
So who cares? I drank beer today with around 30 people I got to know in this game, who live in 3 different cities. That, in my opinion, is far more important then anything around this "who betrayed whom this month" soap-opera in a game where it comes down to who spends more RL money. And the funny part is that you can not win it in an any way anyhow.
and don`r forget CP`s change, but player`s will be here and can vote for a anti-turkey CP ..... what then ?
Well, as a Bulgarian, I would say that there are many Bulgarians who won't mind peace with turkey, but "antiturk" people have also their positions and have stronger voice in ecommunity(as well as the main source of babies is the RL problem with Turkey). Therefore there is a possible place for turkey in TERRA, but not in eden (also Turkey must to liberate Romania because I dont believe they can brake long years of friendship with hungary) Anyway I WILL fight for turkey vs ONE.

Hungary was not the only one to express such position - Russia, Germany and stramge but true - Serbia, voted for Bulgaria to stay in Phoenix. the ones who voted against are ironically now our allies - Brazil and Argentina, plus Estonia and Turkey. however i must admit that once we had good relation and you helped us a lot during our first january BB
