Old Folks?

Day 1,232, 04:14 Published in Canada Canada by frankypicoto

When I read MaryChan's article I decided to check the old eCanadian forums. Mainly to see if I was close to the 2 year mark in the CAF aswell but also because I miss those old days. Turns out I'm nearly one month away from hitting that milestone! I'm glad I could meet so many great people during my time in this game but all-in-all I think my favorite time was in the old forums.
Back then all I did was Spam and I believe I still hold the record for most posts in a day xD. I know, I can't quite remember the day itself but I know I must have been really bored to spend that much time spamming. After I hit the 1k post mark I even became a member of the Brotherhood of Platinum Spammers...

Back then spamming wasn't what it is today, we really got to know the people we "spammed" with and it was a fun hobby. It was from my 309 posts in a day that I got crowned the eGoddess of Spam I believe. However, I wasn't as serious about it as some people who believed they should get paid for spamming xD. There was even a club for lazy people over there...oh how I miss those days...

But, spamming wasn't everything on the old forums. I also checked the Graduation Hall to see [as I mentioned above] when I first became a member of the CAF. Then I went to check my platoon sub-forum found in the Regulars platoon listing. Yes..that's all there was back when we didn't have many members 😮. Nearly everyone was a Private back then and I was no different. The 4th was my platoon!

After we moved to the new forums our membership rose and the forums became a huge thing. I stopped spamming and instead became dedicated to Congress and reached 1k posts shortly without any spamming involved.

Finally I decided to check the Memberlist for last visits and it seems that I'm not the only one who enjoys looking back! I would have to say I'm an Old Folk in this game..

No need to throw around profiles like this or this or maybe even this! I know I'm not the oldest but in my eyes I'm pretty eOld.

Thank you for reading! And sorry about any mistakes I might have made, I haven't proof-checked this article.
