why do you want to fund the AC?

The AC help our international relations by putting us out there and letting other countries know who we are and why we are a good fun country to talk to/be friends with. On the flip side they also report back to us what is going on in each country so we are up to date on global events.

Funding them a bit would provide reward for this service and would encourage them to keep up the good work.

And to answer the eSpain bit. Well I will have to talk and see. perhaps nothing can be done. perhaps it will be as easy as having a nice long conversation.. Who knows but I will give it a shot in any case as any new CP should.

If history is any indication and so far the AC has done shit all and does not deserve to be "rewarded"

If that is the case perhaps use the funding as a quota reward. Provide results for eCan and publish a detailed article and funding will be provided. Reward success and hard work

Interesting ideas. CUA is alright. CoT also may offer opportunities for Asgard. Funding internal affairs won't buy you much for your dollar. It's good to bring a different set of views to the table even if most people have their mind set on one thing.

I do agree with this but when EPD tried to move us to COT there was massive resistance. With CUA we will dramatically increase our firepower and perhaps have enough support to start getting back our countries.

If at a time people start warming up to the idea of COT then that option will be thrown on the table very VERY quickly.

Things have changed a lot since EPD's time. We feared going with CoT because it would betray our allies from former TERRA and EDEN.

Now with Romania and Greece tending towards TWO and Russia + USA in CoT, it seems that things are loosening up and we need not fear losing as much as losing at the game in general. Asgard needs to position itself wisely with the upcoming CoT and TWO showdown.,

It's nice to see someone that isn't resigned in apathy towards our current lack of sovereign nation. That's setting the bar too low and we can strive for better then halfhearted attempts to temporarily reclaim the country just so a few can play Congress.

In the end it is eCan thats important and we need our nation back. We have had far too many months without our full country and we need to start taking bold steps now before everyone gets comfortable with the idea of not having a nation. When that happens "And you can see it starting" it is much much harder to reclaim our land. people may even start to go as far to say dont fight for eCan. Fight for others as we are a lsot cause.

I want to avoid that at all costs.,.

So, why would you be a better CP than Homer?

i would not say I would be a better CP than Homer. I would just be a different CP than Homer with similar goals but different ways to achieve them. Homer is a great man. What i am offering is a different path to the freedom of eCan and a much much more aggressive path towards getting eCan into a better position of military power

I am pushing for an alliance merge or more. I ditched the massive school bus cabinet idea and will just house a small tight one.

I am going to push for a very hard and annoying *get eCan back* campaign. We support our own and fight when a RW comes up. I HATE seeing multiple people put in 1k CAD each just to have everyone laugh and not help while that battle gets squished. We have had too many cases of people fighting for 1 or 2 allies at once when our own RW's went unhelped.

It shows eSpain and other countries we dont give things our all so why not just occupy us forever? What do they have to fear from us in our current state? I want to push us into a position of more military power so we WILL be able to pack more of a punch and perhaps get some or if not all our land back.

Lastly transparency. I Lost faith completely when something happened recently. We made a move that was very sketchy. It barely passed congress and then fell to the side line hoping no-one would notice. When i did and brought it up I got a huge backlash from certain people. I understand some decisions need to be made in secret as revealing them early could leak out and harm us. BUT after the action is done there should ALWAYS be an explanation/article come out explaining the motives and why it was done.

My promise on that is to keep people in the loop on everything and in the rare exception when secrets have to be made until the action is done I WILL create articles explaining things so the people know exactly why and how things went down.

If you keep your people constantly in the dark they will eventually lose trust in you.
