Good article, Zelja, but I think you are mixing different issues into one. First...

This sort of shows the problems we are having, lack of communication and coordination. It's been happening a lot, we as soldiers just follow orders and trust our higher ups to get us orders in time. However, there has been numerous times when there is miscommunication resulting in mistakes and damage wasted.


Now, as for our allies fighting to save us when we are occupied, we know that and we are extremely grateful. You can bet that the US will fight tooth and nail for our allies if their regions are in danger and become occupied as well. The problem now is that EDEN has shifted onto an offensive campaign, one where everyone has their own goals and there isn't enough communication. And when a mistake happens from lack of communication, fingers are pointed very quickly.

I'm sure you noticed the extreme amount of anti-US media and trolling propaganda from our own allies not too long ago.

You absolutely have the right to your opinion and to voice it. Our groups have a great past, but the present is going badly.

The problem is not the individual nations, it is the leadership of the alliance. Pointing fingers and making accusations at the individuals will not fix the situation.

Voted. If you want to keep the USA as an ally show us a little more R.E.S.P.E.C.T and try to get countries like Romania and Poland to stop trolling the shit out of us. A country can only take so much abuse before it decides its enough.

And I think that USA leaders need to look the big picture (too focused only on south Africa past 2 months and not aware of everything else, like Europe) EDEN is here to help each other. It's only naturally that each country has his OWN goal and EDEN is here to help each other (look Finland they sacrificed everything for us)

it was clear to everyone that people fought red to free more regions, not to sell SA, they just didnt know the plan...

why would he write such obvious lie in the presidential article ? his intentions are clear to everyone, by that lie he is trying to fuel more fights and then point a finger to people attacking whole USA bcs of his actions, be sure that you will see a new way of hatred in his article, thats the primary goal of it...

His current article might not help, but the massive trolling we had to suffer wasn't fueled by PigInZen. In fact, both our President and our CJCS, NXNW, had written formal apoligies to EDEN. What we received was more trolling as well as an official smackdown from EDEN-HQ itself, the only country to receive something like that despite everyone having made mistakes before. It's true PIZ's article may antagonize more, but one can say that he was pushed to this by our allies.

The only way to beat Phoenix is to be united, but to do that changes will need to be made. The most important fix needed is communication, it's obvious there has been a lack of communication which causes mistakes. Next thing is that all of EDEN needs to get on the same page before starting any sort of major operation. Right now, we have too many chiefs, not enough indians. Lastly, if an ally makes a mistake, how about we all grow up and accept the mistake. Move on so we can focus on either fixing it or next objective instead of flaming and trolling the hell out of an ally media.

its impossible to stop thousands of individuals to write dumb articles, the reason why those articles got attention was simple, phoenix was voting them hard, same as they will vote any anti-eden article in your media, its your mistake to think that those dumb article speak in the name of whole countries...

Actually at the start of my term I was supportive of EDEN - so much so that Sindh happened without my knowledge.

YOu guys act as if v2 is coming in next few days... Do you honestly believe that?
Attack on Rhone Alps gave us opportunity to surprise PHX in South Africa and we did that.
What PiZ claims in his article is distortion of truth and that is an understatement. My true concern are his real motives to divide EDEN.

Could be our mistake, but there are thousands of two-clickers who read those articles and some of course speak out. There have been articles written by higher ups as well, flaming us, but that is in the past. The flaming all could've easily been stopped if leadership in either country stood up and said that a mistake was made, apology excepted, time to move on. But nothing was said, nothing was done, no communication except for the flames.

Even if PigInZen wanted to get the eUS out of EDEN from the beginning he would have had very little support if it wasn't for EDEN trolling us for days on end.

One thing you can be assured of is that decisions like this isn't made by the President. Our Congress are talking about it right now and they will have their own views on what the decision will be. The decision of course won't be made lightly however the decision is made with a lot of factors, which of course the trolling hadn't helped. Now, their debate is behind closed doors so the public can't see, we will have to wait for their decision.

Let's see where PigInZen comes from?

So while blaming EDEN for being selfish, it is in fact his agenda to secure best starting position when v2 comes around and he doesn't care about harming allies or EDEN in the process. Now that is true selfishness!
He likes to draw parallels between RL and eRep - well in RL USA is often being accused of looking only at their own interest! American people hate when their own allies call them selfish and accuse them of looking at their own interest. Well we see you through your presidents actions, in RL and in eRep and what we see is a guy who will turn his back on alliance just to achieve his private agenda!

I think EDEN High Command needs to let some info out, USA/EDEN citizens are arguing for reasons that EDEN citizens don't fully understand.

Newspapers cost 2 gold to make, and you can spam your heart out with whatever bullsh*t you want, how the hell do you expect anyone to control thousands of ignorant individuals who don't know better then to shut up? If you're gonna make decision like this, newspaper articles by angry mob with pitchforks and torches should be the last on the list of things that influence said decision

The Croatians are my favorite allies, but seriously... what's with all the butthurtz? Leaving the alliance of EDEN does not mean stabbing our allies in the back. Do I have to repeat this?!

The point is the $$ obligation to EDEN, the poor coordination, and insults hurled at us for the past few months, have put us in a position where we are debating this as a country (and rightly so). Just because many of our allies are in EDEN and many of our goals are shared with EDEN, does not mean that we should be bound to them. The debate is over having other goals and priorities and wanting to call our own shots.

Myself, just seeing the venom from our "allies" poured out on our country, especially our President, has swayed me to the side of leaving EDEN. We demand respect. We are not your bitch EDEN, and threatening us with abandonment to a Phoenix occupation just makes the point even clearer.

I am eAmerican and greatly disappointed that our leadership withdrew us from EDEN.

Well, you have Karnataka now, it should not be difficult to pay EDEN membership. Or do you expect EDEN to finance defense of high iron region when it comes to it, while at the same time you are not contributing to EDEN any more?
Every other nation in EDEN endured the barrage of insults from allies when they messed up, only you can't?

You're being used? You got Karnataka and presence in Europe and Asia, EDEN supported you through those conquests and you received more from the alliance then any other nation, talking about being used is absurd and ridiculous. If anyone is to leave over being used it would be Finland or Greece (Greece had to open Turkish MPPs that still linger 1 region away from their iron) but you don't see them even mentioning it

If membership fee is a problem then I don't know what to say, seeing how big chunk of your income comes from region that was conquered with EDEN support.

EDEN failed. It is not the fault of any individual. Every alliance eventually fails and collapses, this just happens to be EDEN's time. The only thing to do is to start over again, just like every other time.
