Official statement regarding Iran
Dear citizens of the New World,
Day 459, at 23:21 I have decided to declare war on the neighboring country of Iran. The Romanian-led invasion of Iran represents an ATLANTIS mission, which is receiving international support from all our allies.
The objectives of this operation are the following:
1. Limiting the virtually uncontrolled Iranian expansion in Asia.
2. Liberating occupied chinese regions and making them available for the Chinese nation.
3. Ensuring the presence of an Atlantis counter-force in Central Asia to balance the uncontrolled expansion of Iran and Indonesia.
4. Providing a military response to the Iranian support for terrorist activities in an Atlantis member country.
This operation does not represent a conquest war on behalf of Romania. After securing the military objectives of this mission (which, at this point, remain confidential), Romania will liberate conquered regions trough Resistance Wars. Romania, as well as Atlantis, are withholding the right to keep one or more regions as military outposts, in order to enhance our response ability in future developments in the region.
