OFFICIAL SDP Statement
Hello wonderful citizens of the eUnited Kingdom! I come to you on behalf of the SDP party, and as a member of the SDP party Cabinet. Before I move on, I would like to remind you that we, as a party, are only just over a month old! In that time we have done amazing things to reach the Top 5. Also we have no pictures in this article to show it is serious and so you stay focused on it.
As with all parties and groups that rapidly grow there are always a number of drawbacks. Due to the sudden rapid growth of our party we did not have clear leadership or structure. And we admit that we were disorganised in that time, and could not live up to what we claimed. However, we have quickly reacted and now have structure and purpose. But please remember that we are still a new party and like all, we are not perfect and don't claim to be and as a result we will sometimes make mistakes. But all parties do this and go through stages that are good and bad. With that out of the way I will continue with the original message.
We have a few points to tell you. Firstly we would like to apolize for any aggressive or silly attitudes towards other people and parties. We do not wish to be at war with parties such as TUP and UKRP, so we publicly say sorry for any actions we have taken against you. And hope that you accept it and that we can start afresh, after all it is not who gets into power, but what is best for the eUK currently. There is no point fighting for the CP elections if you know your party isn't ready or would not be right for the eUK. We as a party want the best for the eUK and it's people. We aim to help all and improve everyone's experience in playing this game.
We have been critised for not having a clear and easy to find manifesto. In response to this we are about to publish our full manifesto and we are making sure it is correct and that ALL members are happy with it. We have not released one yet because we are a social democratic party that let's every member have a say and have input. We want to serve the eUK not the other way round, so that is why we hold polls for everything and make sure all who want to can share their views.
We don't claim to be original, or unique. As there are so many parties and groups that it is impossible to know what each one believes in and so on.
In closing, I would like to thank you all for reading. The SDP as a whole is hopeful that better relations can be built between ourselves and other parties; and we hope that others will be as willing to try and put the past behind us. We look forward to friendly political battles in the coming elections.

Well hulk your wrong. He doesn't and we make polls for decisions. Melophore does not rule us with an Iron rod and if he did no one would be in it.
What was the outcome of your CP election poll then?
To not back UKRP or TUP or jockson. So we choose the only ote candidate. Melophore did not choose him to back, we as a party decided.
To not back UKRP? You did back UKRP initially. Then Melophore made an autocratic decision to back Elbanaan without consulting the party.
No he didn't, your mis-informed. Why u speaking through an Org?? He consulted the whole party cabinet, every member on IRC and Maddog Jones was there when we decided that, and also had a 24hour Poll before the day of election.

Your SDP person is wrong and can get banned for leaking info!! But I am telling the truth, ask maddog jones and also any party cabinet member and anyone active on our forum before the election. I would like to know who your inside guy is but can get the admins to check IPs so I will find out even if you don't tell me 🙂

I can't do a poll for everything, and supporting a candidate only has value when decisions are made final.
The PP has some prerogatives, I poll for everything that is important, but also read the comments on the poll.
You can easily trick polls if you ask the question in a particular manner.
I initially backed Jockson, like Spectrum, are you saying Spectrum flip-flops as well.
The main impression I got from the forum is that there wasn't overall desire for any of the candidates, and in the end, the consensus was to back the candidate who we shared the most ideas with.
Rossiter wanted to invade Valstadet in Norway.. At least it was an objective.
Elbanaan came up at the last minute and his economic manifesto reflected some proposals the party has been working on.
This CP election was a mess anyway, it's hard to get a real concerted decision when some are not sure of running, others plan to give up, or you get that impression and the other just wanted everyone to support him.
I asked a maximum of SDP members, but in the end they all voted in the manner they wished, some voted Jockson, others UKRP...
The whole thing was a chambles.
NEXT TIME gives us your candidates and manifestos a week before, that way we can all read them and make a decision.
Melo, to explain, I didn't make any negotiations with Spectrum, their backup was kind of a default not serious one. I would make negotiations later if there was any chance of forming an opposition to the main two candidates, but after my talks with PCP it turned out there wasn't any, so after this point, we all let jamesw have it. Including Rossiter whom I talked to, we all saw what the polls were saying, so the opposition let it go its way. And the next month will be the same, it will be republicans against democrats again, resulting with the same president no major reforms there.

Non-SDP members telling SDP members what the SDP did.
There were several polls and the discussion on who to vote for/ whether to field an SDP candidate permeated several threads. I can't believe that someone informed you otherwise.
At the end of the day Melophore openly came out and said "vote for who you want" because of all the late CP candidate shifting.
