Official Hungarian statement about the Belgium Issue [ENG]

The Government and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of eHungary is condemning the Romanian-lead and USA-backed secessionist military and political diversion carried over in the United Netherlands.

For those, who does not know the history of the United Netherlands, here are some details:
The Union between the countries formerly known as Belgium and Netherlands has been concluded on the date of April 5, 2009 in accordance with the common will of the people and political elite of both people. See more about it in the eRepublik Wiki.

But the Romanians put their shoulders and decided to meddle in an independent country’s internal affairs. Their action is comparable to that of Otto Skorzeny in the Second World War. Romania has created a non-existent state, called Belgium. If anyone has doubts, that this is a Romanian action, please take a look on the So-called Belgian president’s latest shouts HERE. „Despre victorii si invingatori http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/-the[..]1/all” Yep, this is not „Belgian”, not Flandrian or Dutch, not even Wallonian / French language. It is Romanian. Or heck…can the „Belgian” language resemble that much to the Romanian that even I can understand it? (Yes, I do speak Romanian fluently)

So far Romania was a showing itself as a champion of freedom. Now it is a champion of hipocrzy.

Romania is spitting on her own IRL history. The official Romanian version about the birth of their own country stands by the fact, that Transylvania united with the rest of Romania according to the will of the people who united in 1st of December 1918 in Alba Iulia. And the will of the people was the only one which mattered. This statement, this ideology is taught in the schools to every child.

But here we are not arguing about IRL Transylvania. Here we are arguing about the fact that eRomanians players’ minds and character are flexible enough when there is a certain situation. YES about Freedom, when Peace is oppressing, but NO when they do something stinky. Romanian brothers…you have shown your true character.

Yes, you made a pirate country in the United Netherlands. Well done! Your military power was strong enough to do it. You made your choice between really willing to be champions of liberty (thus defend poor defenseless Slovakia) or being ruthless adventurers (makig diversion in United Netherlands). We all knew from the very beginning who you are. But now the whole world can see it.

Stop being a hypocrite! You are just playing this game. Fighting and conquering is in the nature of the game. Fooling around WAS part of your game till now. But you have failed. Your greed was bigger than your sense for justice. And now everybody can see it. You cannot fool ANYBODY any more.

At the end some few words about your little American brothers, who helped you in this adventure. In the 1860’s they have devastated their own country in the Secession war. Why? Because they were denying the Confederation’s independence. So, American brothers…stop fooling around! From today you must STOP playing the role of the rightful and innocent champion of liberty!
