Note from Deputy/Acting Speaker of the House, Claire Littleton

Hello, eUS citizens. I write to you as the Acting Speaker of the House to inform you that this article is in no way affiliated with A Little Claire-ification, but instead is an official article of the The Speaker's Word, the official paper of the eUSA Congress. Unfortunately, Cromstar, Speaker of the House has real life priorities and can not bring this Mid-Term Congressional Progress Report to you himself in the official paper. Also, he has the password to the org, so I am unable to publish this where it should be published. After attempting to get The Briefing Room, the official paper of the White House, to publish this and not being contacted in a sufficient time-period, I felt as Acting SoH that my paper was the next best place.

With that said, I ask you to not subscribe to A Little Claire-ification based on this article, but instead to subscribe to The Speaker's Word. Now, down to business. BlakeChrysostom, Kansas, has written a summary of the first half of the 17th Congressional Term.

-Also, ssomo’s, Oregon Public Accountability and Non-Corruption Act was passed, which state😛

In an effort to provide better accountability to the government and public, the following steps need to be taken:
* A Google Form for government officials to fill, in which they list their orgs, companies, and company locations.
* All government officials must swear (part of the form) that they understand that the commingling of any govt funds entrusted to them with any personal accounts, orgs or companies, is a breach of public trust and subject to seizure enforceable by the eUS courts and the eRep admin.
* The Speaker of the House or Deputy Speaker of the House is responsible for updating the list, when gov’t officials change ownership of entities.
* A clause stating that failure to disclose an org or company on the form does not negate enforcement of the contract terms against commingling public and private funds.

- Congress approved a one week trial run of the M*A*S*H program, which woul😛

1) Provide gifts and a moving ticket (if needed) to those who are new so they can fight for the first time and gain their +40 wellness.
2) This would be a program but would only go active during wartime (real war and war-games) because it is the only time it would be needed, which makes it similar to a fund.
3) This program would work in coordination with the NG Training Division, since most recipients would be coming from this division, but this program would not be limited to those in the Training Division.
4) After the week is up, Congress will evaluate if such a program is worth the money to be spent.

May 12

- Claire Littleton, New Jersey proposed a change in Congress’ internal procedure, which passed and affected voting as follows:

1) The 5-Vote Approval for Proposals to go to an In-Game vote still require 5 YES Votes.
2) The Mandatory Debate Time before the Proposal can be made In-Game is 7 hours from the time originally Posted.
3) These changes do NOT apply for Donations to the CBO.
4) The SoH/DSoH can overrule this in regards to time-sensitive Vote with a written reason to Congress.

Also, Congress passed a contract for government weapons companies to sign, written up by Joshua Hoss, Wisconsin and Iggy Incubus, Illinois.

-The purpose of it is to keep company managers from stealing or anything, it will also allow weapons companies to stay in US government hands in the case of any shenanigans.
-It also stipulates that a short report of how the companies are doing should be given to Congress each week.
-The contract can be foun😛 Here.

Voting-Record Publication by Claire Littleton

Hello, eUS, below you will find 3 links that will direct you to a spreadsheet of the voting records of how every Congressperson voted on every in-game vote. They are separated by dates, so make sure to check them all. If your Congressperson has failed to report their votes, then take it up with them via PM. I can only collect them and can not force them to register their votes. Also, I would like to note that the May 5-11 report was just posted yesterday so your Congressperson may not have had time to register their vote yet.

April 27-30: Voting Record

May 1-4: Voting Record

May 5-11: Voting Record

Note: Check back as those records are automaticly updated in the link provided as new records come in.

Once again, the normal place for this publication is in The Speaker's Word. Please, go there and subscribe to that paper for Congressional Updates. Also, this article will be re-published in that paper once Cromstar returns. Please vote this up (but don't subscribe to this paper) so that the eUS is aware of this Report.

I want to wish all the eAmericans the best and thank you for taking the time to keep up with your elected officials. Good-night.
