Offical Announcement: Banach is Gone, New Government Formed

Citizens,
Prime Minister Banach has resigned. He is now officially gone. He was successfully impeached yesterday afternoon, but due to V1 bugs the impeachment process did not work. In the last few days V1 has taken some of our oldest and most experienced leaders from us. This has been a dark and troublesome week for Canada, but it has by no means been fatal.
Following the demise of Banach the Congress and government met in an emergency session, a session that has resulted in a new government being formed. A unity government is now in place with myself as President. The admins will make this official change in head of state shortly.
From this point forward Canada will be governed by a Triumvirate consisting of me, Zblewski, and Tom Hagen. We will share the powers of Prime Minister and govern by majority consensus among the Triumvirate members. A cabinet shuffle will occur in the coming days that will bring more CSD and CPP members into this new unity government.
Additionally, the coming November Presidential elections will see the CPP and CSD decline to field candidates and instead endorse me for re-election as President. Following the November elections a new Triumvirate will form consisting of me, Zblewski, and Kommie as leaders of Canada.
So do not worry friends; the initial instability of V1 has now passed. The new government will get back to bringing Canada and its economy into alignment with V1’s new changes, and the goon threat has now been defeated by our unity. Canada’s future is safe and secure. All three major political parties are now working in a partnership to successfully help Canada meet its true potential as the most economically powerful nation in eRepublik.

Oh my god, history is repeating itself...except this time in Canada! Is no one familiar with the triumvirate that Augustus (Octavian) was apart of during ancient Rome? Remember what he did? He defeated and exiled the other two and then took power.

Yes but Octavian couldn't be impeached, AB can. I thought about this two, triumvirates are full of fail in real life but here the presidents authority is kept in check.

Good point Alexander. And if I'm correct, Julius Caesar, who also took control of a Triumvirate, was assasinated when he tried to become a dictator. Hopefully, that part of history won't repeat itself. 🙂

Just to remind everyone here that this isn't happening only in eCanada, but all over the eWorld. Either unite yourselves and come to terms with V1, get through it and come out better then most eCountries, or let it kill you. I hope yuo pick the former of those 2.

Don't forget Napoleon Bonaparte's Triumvirate lol. You guys read too much into it. We united the 3 major parties and called it the Council of National Unity. But that doesn't sound powerful enough, so I renamed it the Triumvirate. Doesn't that sound 10x cooler?
