eLadies & eGentlemen I would like to offer my services to the voters of the East Midlands as your prospective Congress candidate.

Firstly who am I?
I spent the first month learning about eUK, trawling through the forums (simply because the game is a bit slow when you are new).

I spent my second month, abroad USA, Indonesia, Romania, Austria/Germany, Norway, I participated in 127 fights achieved the rank of Lieutenant. I witnessed the intrigues of Wars, Invasions, Revolutions and Political takeovers. Giving me ample understand the game mechanics armed with this experience

In my third month I decided to return home contribute in shaping eUK with the benefit of my experiences, which is why I have declared my candidature for congress

Needless to say doing a little of everything has enabled me to make a reasonable number of contacts so if anyone has a specific problem I am well placed to help.

What I will do?
First and foremost, I will respond to any personal emails to the best of my ability.

From my experience requests to congressmen fall into 3 categories.

Incorrectly addressed grievances – where an inexperienced player asks me to intervene and do something which is beyond the powers of a congressman. I will take the trouble to explain how the eUK structures / forums / game mechanics work in a polite manner, so as to educate fellow eBrits so they can raise their game.

Correctly addressed requests, i.e. from fellow East Midland players asking me to vote in a particular way, or to represent their concerns in congress. Here I will do one of 2 things, If I disagree with their request, (because maybe my months of experience playing the game or discussions on the forums has taught me that would be bad for eUK) I will inform them why I will not by taking up their issue.
If I have no strong opinion or agree then I will simply represent my constituents.

Thirdly there are requests that fill fall in a Grey area, Hospitals Defence systems etc where I do not have the power to do anything about, but I can campaign for a shift in policy using the tools of diplomacy, persuasion and a little humour to win over those who hold the actual levers of power. I would be happy to engage the relevant decisions makers and make my case and feedback my failure or success to my constituents along with the reasons why.

I am around the same age as the other candidate, but have amassed nearly twice the ingame experience – (as judged by game mechanics). Which indicates that I have exploited the game mechanics to my benefit and would like to see fellow eBrits do the same, to make eUK the strongest nation in the game.

I would like to clarify that game experience in no way indicates, how good someone would be at representing the east midlands in congress and I do believe that the other candidate is passionate about representing the East Midlands and I hope both of us are elected so our region can be served by 2 passionate congressmen rather than one.

I further pledge that should I be elected I shall consult with the other elected people from the East Midlands region and try to open a company with our conjoined 5 gold Congress bonus's to start. Ideally this would be a housing company so all in the region who work for the company for 30 days can buy a house at cost price. Once word get's around of our work for a house scheme this will encourage migration of new players to our region. (For this idea I am indebted to UKReform)

On a final note our party has no congressmen from the East Midlands Region if we field multiple candidates we will split the vote and loose the election.

I ask the party chairman to endorese one candidate to we can gurantee a victory, with a second reserve, I also would like their to be a voting strategy so that everyone votes to ensure the first candidate gets elected before voting for the second candidate.

If the party agrees to this then I would be willing to stand down as a candidate for the sake of party unity.
