Of careless trees and nerve

Recently heard by small claims court judge:
"Well, I was driving along, being careful and doing the speed limit when all of a sudden a tree jumped out in front of me, I tried to avoid it but, well, you know the rest."
If you don't already know, eCanada has its own forum Court which settles some disputes between players and adjudicates claims against and for the government. The Supreme Court of Canada is housed in a little shack under a canopy of trees beside a cool idyllic stream. You can find it on the eCanadian forum. There you can also witness the sausage making which is government, meet friends and become a part of the Canadian Armed Forces.
Because our in forum law is poorly understood, I thought to do a few articles with some legal tidbits: some humourous, some instructive and some possibly banal. The court presently has before it a case of alleged disappearance of government money. The court may be looking for players who want to be "lawyers" and the government is looking for an Attorney General to do its court-room work for them.
The Canadian forums can be reached here:

After you obtain access to the Canadian citizens' area you will be able to find the Court here:

And the present case here:

we are adjourned ......for the length of a cigarette... or two.
