If representing your region in congress is not enough, then representing a region that has taken you into its arms and fully welcomed you is an achievement in itself. I am seeking to be elected as the Congressman for Wales because I feel passionately about the future of this region.


Why am I qualified?

In this game I have come much further than I expected for somebody with my citizen age and experience. I feel grateful that I have been given so many opportunities in eRepublik, having served in various offices and positions during my 2 months here. For the second month in a row I will be serving as the Party President of the Movement for Democratic Unity, which I am extremely proud of. During my tenure I have experienced highs and lows, but we have worked as a team to make sure that whatever happens, the MDU will emerge stronger. This is the way I will work with Wales. I have experience in running a party, and I hope to transfer my skills to running a region. I can apply the experience I have gained for everybody's benefit.

Also, I have served as the Underminister for Educational Services, where I am helping to reform the Educational system, and as your NHS Director, giving the citizens of Wales wellness to keep them happy and healthy. I will be able to apply the skills I have gained through these positions to help me represent Wales in government.


Goals as your Congressman

One of my main priorities as a congressman will be the establishment of the Welsh Council. Similar innovative schemes have been established by congressmen in other regions, and having proved successful for our neighbours it is only right that Wales deserves a well-established and democratic Local Government. The Welsh Council will follow the model of the other established councils, and I hope that I can use my skills in management and organisation to help run this scheme.

In addition, I wish to increase activity on the forums. I will create schemes aimed at increasing forum awareness and persuading people to join. We will have games, competitions and a quiz team to make sure everybody is having fun, I hope to create a lively communal atmosphere on the Welsh forum.

When in government, I will be active in discussion and proposing laws. I wish to combine my own moral judgement with the opinions of the Welsh people. I will always stand for the rights of the citizen, democracy and fair representation. I will push for a fairer market and less red tape in government. I believe that enjoyment is the principal reason that we are all here, and I will support any measures that will make life in eRepublik more fun for everybody.

I am a firm believer in teamwork, and I will make it my priority to work with my fellow congressman for Wales. We will do everything it takes to make sure that we fulfil this responsibility to the best of our ability, for Wales and the Welsh people.
