Good day eCanada,
I am honoured to announce that I have been chosen by Octavian_F as his Vice-Presidential pick!
Octavian_F announced his candidacy for CP of eCanada on day 1613.
Octavian and I are campaigning on the principles of integrity and open government.
Integrity We will not buy votes or 'reward activity'. We are running on a platform of honesty and integrity. This will mean relying on hard work, activity, and strong message to win votes.
Open Government If elected, we promise regular, detailed articles from the CP office. We want too establish sincere, two-way communication with the population. We will be the government of eCanadians, not just the government of eCanada.
A Fair and Competitive Race in eCanada
Without a doubt, this coming CP race will be the most competitive race that eCanada has seen in a long time. Octavian and have some stiff competition. Sperry and Connor Macleod are also running for CP.
There are those who will say that the race was over when Sperry announced his candidacy. To them, I say: So what?
eCanada needs some faith in the Political System. What eCanada needs is a competitive General Election.

Octavian, but which Top 5 party do you hope to have endorsement from?
EPIC will likely go to Sperry.

That leaves 3 and two of them are Norsefire. Perhaps CNC will have a spot open if parties rally behind 1 or 2 candidates. Just wondering.

We elected ten congressmen democratically without vote-buying.
It's neither a power grab nor is it a movement for a select few. Everyone can get involved and is treated as an equal.

Plugson, I'm pretty sure that if a top 5 party supports the same candidate as another top five party, or doesn't select anyone, that allows non-top five parties to nominate their own candidate. In the end we're left with 5 candidates and not just the candidates that the top 5 parties choose.
Wombatman: I like you as a player. But I'll be honest with you here, associating with Octafail was not a good idea.
Chochi: yes, I agree with that. For this reason, I think it is good for Octavian to check with sub-5 parties like the CNC to get a nomination.

Apparently "Integrity" let's you take stolen money from Rolo and Wes Lewis and return to them a profit through your "Investment Bank".
It also lets you borrow stolen Gold from Wes Lewis in an attempt to bribe a top 5 Party into nominating you for President so that if you're elected you can rob the treasury for a third time.
Like Venoms said Wombatman. You need to do your homework before you align yourself with people.
Simon, I like to get to know people before I pass a judgement on them. It's next to impossible in eCanada to rely on what others say about people. It requires sifting through the mudslinging and the politics to find the truth.
Muglack, a person's past has relatively little to do with what they can bring to the table and what they can do for the country.
If, for example, Rolo were to renounce vote buying and started working for the betterment of eCanada, I would be happy to work with him.
