What the OCPP is:
OCPP stands for the "Organization of Canadian Petrol Producers", and is based on many of the same principles as the real life "OPEC".
What is it made for:
OCPP was created to moderate oil prices on the eCanadian market, and to generate a mutual benefit for all members. Member's of the OCPP will discuses pricing strategies together, negotiate contracts and deals with the government and moving ticket companies, and generally make decisions that will financially benefit all members.

Just what the eworld needs, a group of greedy oil producers that wish to manipulate prices to line their own pockets, while driving up prices not only on oil but moving tickets produced with that oil.
They are not making millions right now, i know i used to own a company and as it is more a luxury than a necessity, i think it is ok for them to make some money, unlike the grain producers, Don't let them talk to each other it is dangerous!
The OCPP was created by myself around a week or so ago, and this is a direct copy from our forums. I granted the editor of this newspaper access to the OCPP press room in exchange for giving more publicity to the OCPP.
And yes we are trying to establish a monopoly and basically control the Canadian oil market. Oil which used to be sold for 0.6 CAD, is now BARELY selling at 0.3 CAD.
We are not greedy Jake, we are simply trying to stay afloat. However if the OCPP really does gain a complete monopoly over the market who knows.... 😛
@Chuck Norris: didn't you know that corporations, and not citizens rule nations? Its true in RL, and its definitely going to become true in eRepublik. And the government can't stop us because its not like they can stop us setting whatever prices we want. Plus what foolish government would hinder economic progress. Thats suicide.
Its not our goal to destroy the economy with super high prices, its our goal to make Canada a profitable place to sell oil (and in the future I will start other campaigns depending on any other companies that I make).
