NWG4CP My Wish for Today and Tomorrow

Day 2,323, 17:05 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by N W G

In this article I want to explain some of my own aims and wishes for this month.

Most of the time we have seen all to recently alot of previous candidates promising alot of short temporary idear's that can be accomplished before they leave or easily discarded by the next CP in line.

Well today i want to look much further than my own term. When i first started there was lots of idears on how to help new players, how to keep retention and promises made have since been broken or forgotten .

The first thing i want to bring back is the Tutorial Library. This was build and set up as our own font of Knowledge. A place where new players could be directed for guides. Now all we have is players able to offer small bits of advise if and when they are asked. Of course this will take some time as I dont know the state of it currently but its gonna need work to bring it up to date and usable in today's game.

While we are on about guides I would like to see more help on explaining to new players on how to use the Money Market, what is best to do with there gold and to dust off on how to make the most of training ground discounts and company sales.

Not sure if people are aware but with a discount sale and the current price of WRM its been explained to me now it can take only 4 months now to repay some investments. This is alot better than it has been for quite a while. And should the new Health pack be a monthly thing then this might help raise the prices of items which could and should be taken advantage of also.

It was mentioned before about helping eUK player maybe as a priority over friendly nations with the leasing of National Orgs. Now i know this was looked at before with regards to getting people to help each other as a joint venture on orgs to help maximum potential profits. And I believe this is a good idea and something which needs to be looked at also.

I like it because its true we should be looking at ways of not just bringing money into the UK. But helping the people of eUK make its own money too. So I will ensure that not only do eUK players have this right but if needed training given to ensure they also have the ability to make the best of this chance.

We as a nation have very few strong players. And when I mean strong I dont mean as in strength. I mean that have a solid foundation in both the Military Module and the Financial sector of this game. Ideally these should go hand in hand. After all if you invest early in your training centres you gain strength faster which means you can impact a battle on the battlefield more. But it also means you gain more gold and more CO's every day from rewards and battles.

And with alot of the above proposals this is what I wish to help the young players do and become. Far to long have we wasted the potential of these players joining. Most of the time for no good reason and this needs to change or we will keep going round in the same cycle time after time.

Now some of you will say some of this stuff has been promised before so what's different this time. And I agree with you and to answer the next part is where I want to talk about what I want and what we need. I will be having a slightly bigger cabinet that normal ( pending applicants of course ). I will also be aiming for experience in my cabinet. Again I hear you say we have had this before.

Well I want to take it a step further. When it comes to talent and players in cabinet we have recently been reliant too much of the time on the same old faces over and over. There was a interesting article not long ago explaining about how this can lead a nation into a downwards spiral.

I dont think I could ever forgiven myself if I didnt try to rectify this. So one of the main aims of my cabinet will be to teach and train. We need to use the good players we have today in order to teach the greats of tomorrow. If we carry on our current path good players will burn out and with no-one able to take over, the UK and its players will suffer more from this inaction. Being in cabinet for some seems more a necessity because who else is there ??

When I became Minister Of Defence this term it highlighted the issue to me when even on election day there was no-one to take over from the previous month. And despite never being in the department before I stood up. And now this is where I look out to the newer players reading this who want to take part but feel scared. Don't be this is your time, this is where you have the chance to be more and learn from some of the best people we have to offer. Step forward and not just do more, But be more.

So there you have it my aims and wishes when looking at home next term. We need to develop and help the youth of today for a better tomorrow. And not just for them but for us too. I can only look back and dream now if I knew then what I have learnt now. I got so much help and because of it im now able to see the rewards. But if i had the chance to start from the beginning, at the beginning like where our new players right now, then the possibilities for them as players as well as for us and this nation could be endless.
