CheeseBall here guys. This will be my second last article in my bid for congress, the last reminding you I’m running for congress and providing you with links to my previous ones. Lets not dawdle though, its time to talk about our military and economic situation.

Military

When it comes to our military we have strong voices with strong opinions and some that are to shy to speak up on their thoughts. Some believe that we do not need to spend money on our military until our economy is much stronger, that we should rely on Indonesia to protect us. These people believe Indonesia will always be able to protect us. They are wrong. No one is a super power forever.

We can and should compromise in this situation. Training operations should be carried out, because if they are not we are the ones who fall behind. We have already had to restart our country in most its aspects and we can’t afford to loose even further ground in our military strength. We may not be the richest country but sending out our mobile units with low Q weapons will do something. Even fighting without weapons is a better option than not fighting at all. Do not make the mistake of leaving our military high and dry as it is as bad as saying the economy does not matter and leaving that to destroy itself while shoving funds into the military. Remember the key is balance; don’t ignore one for the sake of the other.

I believe the military should get contracts with Australian companies in weapons and tickets. I believe both should be of Q1 quality, I know shock horror coming from a Q2 weapons owner 😛. Q1 is the best bang for your buck, then Q2, then Q3, then Q4, then Q5. The higher Q weapons are for wars that you want to win or when experience is needed to gain as fast as possible, and you have enough money to go around.

I will push for the funds for these contracts that will provide us the tools to protect and build our nation but I will also push for the funds to be used efficiently so that we do not waste our limited resources.

Economics

In this area I have only two issues to talk about. These are our training companies and our worker situation. In general our economy is ok for a re-starting nation that is re-building its economy. What we need to look at his how we do this and what can be done to improve what we are doing.

People have been asking and complaining about the lack of food on our markets. Yes there is a lack but the lack is in our workforce. What is the point of creating a Q4 food company when only six people are willing or able to work there? None. True Blue Q5 food has been operating on 8 employees even when offering very generous wages, other companies I know face the same problem. Woolworths Q4 operates with 6 workers, some inactive simply because it can not afford to compete with the ridiculous wages that are running around without raising its prices. And if that comes to pass people will complain. We simply do not have the workforce needed for the amount of companies that we have, this is driving wages up. In order to fix this we, the Australian people need to think not what is the best wage, what is the best for me, but for my skill where should I be working. The GMs should be thinking for what skills should my companies be offering jobs? Should I outbid my competitor or post a wage of equal value?

These are the things we as Australians should think about, because by helping each other, by helping our nation, we are helping ourselves.

Our training companies are a big issue for me as I was the Minister of Work for the e-UK for a number of terms and it irritates me I admit when I see them being misused. The training companies should be companies that employs 0 skill employees only and trains them until they are skill 2 or so and then fire them so they can move on into the Australian workforce. The wages in these companies should never be competitive in order to encourage moving on into other non-government companies. They should not be allowing people with skills higher than 2-3 to be in these companies unless there are a lack of companies and too many workers. This is not the case. Australia NEEDS workers and we have some that are being wasted in our training companies when they should be in food companies with little workers or in grain companies which lack the workers to produce at maximum production.

The very things that were supposed to help our country’s workforce are instead crippling us, our nation as a whole. This is not being done intentionally but nevertheless the results are the same. We need to utilise them properly by hiring at the right levels, firing at the right levels, encouraging moving on to the right levels. If the government is not going to use the companies just as the training companies they are supposed to be then call them what they really are, government companies.

I know some will not like what I have said in this last article but they are things that should be said and acted upon. If I get into congress, I will push for a change even as I push for it in the articles I have written.

I will strive for military funding and the efficient use of this funding.

I will strive to keep us in the best possible diplomatic situation available to us.

I will strive to make Australia's economy more efficient.

I will strive to unite the individuals in the betterment of Australia for each and every individual.

Thanks for reading my long winded articles, or just voting them 😛
