November Congressional Election Guide: the shape of things to come
Ealb
Well, it's November 23rd, and Congressional candidate slates are locked. With the new regional elections, there'd been a great deal of weaving and maneuvering amongst the parties, but when the dust settled, it looks like the whispered tidings of fierce electoral battles were false. There are scarcely enough candidates for seats; indeed, it looks like eThailand will only seat 38 Congressional representatives this month. A region-by-region breakdown of the candidates follows:
(e) Joy. More bugs. A large number of candidates around the eWorld have evaporated off the rolls. Check the list below and make sure you're on it if you signed up. Report it here, and/or in a direct message to the admins if you're missing..

Comments
It's interesting that Hat Yai has almost twice as much candidates as in Bangkok.
Well, yes... though I know of some candidates who HAD been signed up to run there but the bug vanished. Still, Hat Yai has been looking to be the nastiest contest for quite a while...
Would you say theres any difference between the parties at this time? Still utterly undecided who to vote for. The TNT seems to be the South American party, which I'm not, but apart from that... Atm will just vote for whoevers bothered to put up a presentation!
bug corrected in TNT
Is it possible to get on it now somehow? Apparently, I was removed...
My presentation's here...

But it's probably no use, now that this bug dumped me off the list. >.>;
Thanks for the compilation, Ealb.
This should help the voters a lot 🙂
Hmm.., Ealb. the link to my presentation doesn't work.

I'm suspicious that there's one or two TRP people still de-listed, but I lack the certainty to assert that. If you signed up and vanished, bug the admins. That goes for every party.
i think beorn was already warned by the admins about this matter, ealb.
@Antonio:
>i think beorn was already warned by the admins about
>this matter, ealb.
I'm keenly aware of your reporting Beorn. They threw the 10 eRepublik laws in his face, and "reminded" him calumny is prohibited.
Now, here's my challenge to you, Antonio: go look in what I wrote above and tell me what is calumnious. Look long, and look hard. You're not going to find one bloody thing. And you know it as well as I. I'm not making false accusations. I am very simply (and in fact very restrainedly) describing what you and your party did. Do you deny the above? What parts? Tell me, please.
If you want to report me, go right ahead. But before you choose to do so, I caution you to look over what I wrote, and determine what parts of it are false accusations. Look long, and look hard, and make VERY sure you're sure. Because I will remind you what the admins did with Beorn: they told him to abide by the 10 eRepublik laws, and avoid calumny. Make VERY sure you can make a charge of calumny stick. Because if you can't, you're breaking eRepublik law #8:
8. Freedom of press is absolute [excepting that no racism, extremism, pornography, vulgarity or spam is allowed].
Antonio, you can't flush your party's vile behavior under Rockman down the memory hole. We remember. We won't forget. And if it's relevant, we'll talk about it. You're free to try your best to use the admins to re-write history, but be aware that you're violating the eRepublik rules by attempting to suppress true statements in the press... and if you persist with your bullying and threats, you WILL be reported.
OK thanks v much for that Ealb. Is good to see some party differences expressed so clearly. I know we are working together to build eThailand but a state with no internal differences is a dictatorship not democracy!
ealb, i didnt made a single threat 😁
By stating that I was warned about this matter, you are implying that you will report Ealb if he continues. If that was your intent, it could be considered suppression of the free press. But since we know that isn't your intent to bully people, I think we can resume a civil discussion.
@Antonio:
>ealb, i didnt made a single threat 😁
No. Semantically you didn't. You were careful to avoid it. However, your above "😁" emoticon only reinforces to me that you intended to IMPLY one while maintaining deniability. There's no reasonable way to parse it beyond, "you can't PROVE I made a threat, neener neener". Just as there's no reasonable way to parse your original statement except as an implication that the admins wouldn't take kindly to my having written what I did, so I'd better stop it if I didn't want you to bring it to their attention. As we both know.
my "😁" is just a: sorry if you thought it was a threat.
@Butch:
As a member of the Sabai Unity Party, I feel it is best if I also explain what we are for. Government Transparency. We need participation and activity. Government actions should be about making sure that we attain the maximum amount of participation. We also want to make sure that the dialogue amongst the various parties and groups in eThai remain productive and open.
There is history between TRP and TNT, we are something outside of that. If you are really curious I would look at some of the older articles written by the various figures in the party and get an idea of the history and the reasons why we have gone where we have gone.
Here is a link of an article I wrote, to help:
