Not the article I was going to write....

Day 1,760, 13:39 Published in Ireland Ireland by Death and Taxes

Having learnt the hard way, I always copy articles as I go along as eRepublik has a habit of 'refreshing' itself just as you get to the end of your treasured opinion piece and thus lose everything.

I was going to release an article on the current state of play with Irish MU's. A pretty good piece I thought and having nearly completed it, just wanted to add another picture when refreshed you ha! ha! left me with just a picture link to show for 45 minutes of my life.

So obviously, I'm not going to write that article again. I'll make this short and sweet. Over the last 24 hours, here's the number of kills per military unit in Irelan😛

# of kills is important because it shows how active an MU is, anybody interested in seeing how active their own unit is, merely needs to divide the number of kills by the number of members. Put please bear in mind, it's easier for small units to have a healthy ratio, older units tend to get buried under 'legacy stock' of old members.

What's more important is influence. Influence is simple damage. But it is influence that wins battles and campaigns. For this information we need to look at eGov stats;

Here you can see the smaller units tanking very effectively. A wonderful thing as they represent the future of this country. As for ourselves, well we're pretty happy to make #2 in terms of influence. This is not a freak result, we've been about a million or so behind the ICA over the last week, so it was inevitable we would get a bounce some day.

So how come a unit with 12 members can outfight a unit with 42? Well, the answers to this are relatively simple, and this is what gives belief that a properly organised and structured military unit, fighting uniformly for Ireland, can take on larger opponents and defeat them.

But we've been here before. All I will say at this stage is the following:

If you want to join a unit that fights in the right battles for the right reasons. Join us.

If you want to free yourselves from avatars, chat, communes and inane requirements. Join us.

If you want to join an MU with a plan. With a reason for existence. That's heading in any direction (not necessarily the right one). Join us.

If you want to join an MU that has activity, you know, like comments in the chat feed, regular PM circulation, a commander that actually gives a damn? Join us.

If you want to be in a unit of equals, where everyone is respected regardless of what they do, as long as they stay loyal.........then join us.
