North American University is offering student loans
North American University
In response to criticisms of our $20 tuition, North American University is offering loans to all students. It will be a simple loan of $20 per class you enroll in, with $25 due. There actually won't be any money exchanged between the two parties until payment is due. You won't be required or expected to repay the loan while you're enrolled in the university. The repayment time will occur from the day that you graduate until a full month afterward for the first $20, and two weeks for every $20 loan after that. In that time, you'll be expected to repay all outstanding loans, including the $5 interest. If you fail to repay your loan on time, there will be a $10 penalty, and a one month grace period. If you still fail to pay, then we'll resort to admin intervention, and ask for an additional $50.

In other news, our first (beta) semester is tentatively scheduled to begin on Monday, January 19.

I like the student loan idea. What a great way to make it affordable to newbs!
The student loan is a great idea but i think you need to draw up contracts on the forum so that they actually come into play, but i am sure you have already thought of that.
