Reality is however that someone like Jeiry (very active on articles) will let the policy making to others and let his vote weigh on the decisions taken by those who represent him.

I think you're overly exagerating, in the past it was already proven (I remember your referenda articles) that it are the same people that vote in those as on the forum and that ultimately you end up with the same result. I think you should bring those back if you really want direct democracy in eBe.

waht u type seem correct. the politicaly active citizens do vote in repherendum while they do run for congress. but it's only coincidence, that in such a small country as belgium, the number of representative positions match with the number of politicaly active citizens (and average turnout at the publick general votings, which bring the simillar results eventually). u can't use this as an argument. well, ofc u can, but u're using a flawed one.
if we manage to grow the belgian population (what previous hope/bb/lcc was trying to), the congress seats become unsufficient for the mass of active citizens willing to participate. therefore the representative democracy fails, again. i'm thinkin to revive the referenda when i have the time, since no one else bothers to do it.
