no borders, no nations

merhaba clicking people of the globe!

in the prevailing mood of histerical anti-pto introducing military interventions into the political competiton, the (im)migration wannabe issue is presentday topick. lcc opinion on immigration is more than clear. as libertarian collective we sharply refuse any tries to cut down individual freedoms in any area. if the game offers the congrespersons an option to oppress the freedom of movement, it doesn't mean, we need to use the avaliable limiting tools to the full.

the problem is not the citizenship attribute itself. how the game limits the number of new citizens through immigration monthly to only 10% of current country population is wrong, but not the worst thing either. the process of changing citizenship is extremely oppressive. the power, given to the few elected representatives, to chose for u, where u can and can't perform ur political and economic activities in the game, unnaturally makes the cs pass an induced scarce.

current migration practice is shaped by the gvt efforts to control the whole process. the applications for citizenship r debated behind the closed doors, outcomes presented to the public as democratic, and all congressmembers are asked to follow decision of immigration boards, many of them do so.

social artificial constructs called nations install borders between people. the game copies this practice and divides common clicking populace by citizenship. this game regulation of citizenship very much helps the currently ruling pto groups to control the movement of players and is easily abused against the undesired opposition. ofcourse lcc is not in favour nor is supporting dirty robbers, greedy thieves, parasitic leechers, bourgeois profiteers or cunning forestallers craving for the stacked wealths. we do not promote neither do we prefere to invite criminal groups or their members. in any way. the dubious pto groups already established locally is more than enuff actually. but we refuse to punish regular citizens with immigration restrictions, only for the sake of preventing the insignificant number of criminal elements from moving from one country to another.

to lessen this injustice we need some kind of consensus on proposal like Referendum 008: Immigration. lcc cheers for the h.o.p.e.'s referendum which offered pure direct democratic solution. it is too sad that too many agents of reaction helped to reject this progressive move in the recent public voting at avegan's article. now there is another possible option to expand the players' freedoms. similarly as the game accepts new citizens automatically in sequence they breed, we should accept new citizens through immigration automatically in sequence they apply. aka first come, first citizenized. it's the most fair method under the sun and beyond so far, within the limits of game mechanics. no borders proposal outdo the cs-referenda option in terms of personal liberties. congressmembers may give the passes in a particular order or in batches for the 30 requests at once. the exact implementation is not the front issue atm.

today i encourage all citizens residing in belgium to support the lcc referendum on migration and help to tear down the boarders, because no one is illegal.

in solidarity
