MANILA - The Philippine Congress ratified a new immigration law yesterday.

The Philippine Immigration Law, penned by Mindanao representative Swagger McSwag, was passed, 21-nil.

"Now that the immigration policy has been finalized I would like to require all Congress members and congressman-hopefuls to read it," McSwag said. "It's a very, very important document."

"Even if you are not in Congress, I encourage you to read it," he continued.
