CANBERRA - Australian Prime Minister Cottus Arci officially proclaimed eAustralia's membership in the eRepublik Defence and Economy Network (EDEN) in his newspaper, today.

He reported the results of an official referendum in which 123 out of 139 participants (or 88😵 voted in favor of signing the EDEN treaty, and commended the referendum for being "a whoppingly awesome and united effort".

The premier also unveiled their new "official EDEN Military Core (EMC) Uniform".

South Africa Voices Support

Meanwhile, South African President Mark Morcom expressed support for the fellow Sol alliance member's move to join EDEN.

"I support eAustralia joining EDEN and wish them luck with this," he was quoted as saying.

South African diplomat Silent_Hero echoed the words of his president and lauded Australia for their decision.

"I wish Cottus [Arci] and eAustralia all the best with their new allies," he said.

Dissenting Views

However, Japanese Culture Minister EmberFirespiral expressed less than encouraging views.

"I don't believe that either of the superalliances should even exist because all they do is cause trouble," she said.

Former Indonesian President aban was more blunt. "Go to hell!" he exclaimed in an interview with The Outisder.
