New Zealand declares War on Australia

Reason for the war: Just friendly war games between two countries, or does NZ want to acquire hot Australian women for ourselves?

Today an interesting proposal went through congress. In just 4 hours from this posting, New Zealand will be officially at war with Australia.

However, these are just War Games. Australia is not our enemy nor are we theirs. Our Prime Minister Calbe wrote on the forums: "Australia wanted war games with us as a way of developing bonds between our nations. This way they dont lose their MPP with the US, we're already losing it so it doesnt matter, and we get consistant wars to train with." (Source)

Of course, when I heard about this the first time, I thought "What about the USA MPP?". Australia has an MPP with USA just like us and if we are to attack them, it would cancel out the MPP. New Zealand does not have a lot of gold to spend on MPPs, and surely this is a waste of money, right?

Not quite. Recently, the Serbians in congress negotiated a deal with France for an MPP and proposed it without informing the rest of congress or even our own Prime Minister Calbe. So, we are stuck with an MPP with France for the time being, endangering New Zealand's neutrality stance since it goes against the "One-EDEN, One-Phoenix" policy that both sides in congress agreed to.

USA is heading towards France to attack them anyways, so the MPP would be canceled regardless. So whether or not we went to war with Australia would not matter since the MPP will soon be gone.

In closing, let's remember that this is just a training war, and a way for two friendly rivals to have some fun with each other. I look forward to smashing through ranks of koalas and kangaroos on the battlefield. See you there, eAustralia. 😉
