2009 vs 2010
You had a wonderful 2009 as you got Mr.Dee as your friend
Make 2010 better by giving gifts and treats to Mr.Dee

Each one of us would have come in to this game with different expectations. I came in when I saw an ad on Google, looking for a good gaming experience. Looking at the ad and the 4 step introduction, I registered in a hurry and embarked on a journey which I hope will continue for quite some time. The irony is that I did not get exactly what I expected from the game, but got something which was quite different but much more pleasing and delightful.

I knew from the outset that this is a multi-player social networking game. But I had not expected to become a part of such a wonderful community as the one we have here. This game gives a great opportunity to make friends from all over the world and understand about various cultures and communities that exist among us. Best of all, I am in touch with guys who love India more than I do, players who may not be Indians in real life, but are totally mesmerized with my great Mother Land. Still, this game is not all about wars and conflicts, it is also about human bonding and relationships.

We start with a simple greeting, a click on ‘add as a friend’ tab, some messages and discussions on the forums....

We progress to sms, occasional phone calls, mails, chats etc..Of course we do fight, argue and love to hate each other....

One day I realize that someone has not messaged me for quite some time(5-7 days). I check his in game profile and company page to see if he is still logging in, look for his forum posts, hope to catch him on chat engines, check out his in game news paper for any updates, try calling the friend on the mobile or send an sms and in general be a miserable person. So often friends say “Good Bye”, for some time or forever, sometimes a dear friend gets banned and you feel as if this is the end of the world, sometimes you hear the friend had an accident or is not well and you pray for him.....

That is when you realize why you keep logging in daily despite the bugs, multis, arguments etc. The game is just an excuse to keep in touch with friends. You may not interact personally very often, but some signs of activity on forums or media are enough of a reassurance that all is well.....

So here is an appeal to all my friends...Kabhi Alvida Na Kehnaa...Never Say Good Bye...

Even if you cannot be on forums or chat engines for hours, please do stay back as two-clickers at least. That will reassure your friends that you are fine...

Hmm..Does this make any sense dear readers?

It is New Year eve and I wish everyone all the very best in 2010 and years to come....
