New Update: Alliance Module

Day 1,931, 10:34 Published in India United Kingdom by Cadfan

Hi guys! I’m Cadfan! 😃

The admins have graced us with a new update. This is the alliance module, which has been in the works since the international summit. . The module can be found here. Alternatively you can go to the ‘Community’ tab, then ‘Alliance’.

This screen will change depending on whether your country is in an alliance or not. If your country is in an alliance you will see the home page of this alliance. However if your country is not part of an alliance you get to see the rankings of alliances, by number of members. At the moment CoT leads the way.

The country presidents and the alliance leader can interact even more through this module in the following ways:

1. Any CP in the alliance can propose to change the alliance leader. This requires 66% of the votes to go through.

2. The alliance leader can invite a country into the alliance and again this needs 66% of votes. If this is accepted a law proposal arises for the country joining congress and if they vote 66% in favour, the country will join the alliance.

3. The leader can also try to remove a country from the alliance and again this requires 66% of the votes and the CP of the country in question cannot vote.

4. Any CP can propose a law to leave the alliance. This is a vote in that country’s congress and 66% of the votes are needed in order for it to be approved.

This is a good addition in my opinion, as it makes it easier to see who is in what alliance, and also solidifies the concept of the ‘alliance’, making it more relevant to game mechanics.

Thanks for reading

PS: Be sure to vote Alector for president tomorrow! 😃
