New Training Module - Why it can be good
Deren Klist
Ok. I haven't really wrote in a while but once this came out I got an idea. Then I saw all the hate articles. Well to all the people who hate this, then screw off because the "Parters" Support the game even if it is a cheap way to do it.
Doing this is really not as bad as you think. With this implemented governments can fund people they trust and make them into super badass tanks. For only 54 gold for a standard 30 day month they can produce tanks that would otherwise be just some other player with a low strength level.
The only thing I see wrong with this is that Russia has the highest GDP meaning they can fund more tanks on and off the battlefield. Then you got Hungary and then the US. Smaller countries are in the dust on this though unless they get generous donations from people or banks or companies.
In any case, this new feature could very well make an otherwise weak nation, a nation that could take on some of the leading superpowers. This being said you also have to worry about turncoats. Countries could make a contract for these government funded tanks to sign stating if they leave the country for some other country they pay so much gold or get banned, or something along those lines.
People I understand you are worried about the "parters" of the game. But think of it like this. Not every single person who plays this game, hell almost noone who plays this game besides a select few, actually buy enough gold to actually make themselves into a tank. Governments benefit the most from this as I have stated. Besides. If you are worried about a few "Parters" then what will happen when you see a few hundred government funded tanks on the battlefield. I think the "Parters are loking more friendly now. Don't you?
As always subscribe and vote it up. I am sure that your nation can benefit this more then you think!

gap between new player sand old players is going to grow bigger
If that worries you then this is the solution. Though it can hurt my idea some it will still allow my idea to work.

>gap between new player sand old players is going to grow bigger
truth
most people are worried that the new players are just gonna pack up their strength using gold. The fact is, they would only get gold later, and they're less likely to buy gold when they just start the game.
Older players on the other hand probably have stockpiles of gold to use, and now have a nice place to put it.
A good possible solution is to make something else to drain a bit of the gold out of the economy or reduce the amount of gold coming in. Making surveys worth less or adding some other small bonuses which you could get from spending gold would be a good idea.
If not taking money from the eWorld, the trainers could just give less than 2x exp (quite ridiculous), maybe 1.5x or lower for using a trainer.
While this might or might not be true about the gap getting bigger, that had nothing to do with the article. I am trying to show you that it can be a good thing even if you think it is a bad thing. Just because Side A says Side B is evil does not make Side A right. Side A is the people who disagree with this change. Side A makes good points but even so there are points not heard yet and I just threw one out for Side B.
I am not someone with money so I do not plan on wasting RL money for this. What I would like to see is government funded tanks as having these would actually HELP a country, and not just some random person with a ton of gold.
'I'm as mad as hell and I'm not going to take this anymore!'
Well, sorry for the off topic comment then 😛
I agree with this, and it seems as thought rather than finding the possible good in everything, erep players need to rage at the admins.
probably just blowing off steam from not owning UK/japan 😛
The problems are:
-you need more gold, thus price of gold increases
-since the price is inreased, you will have to pay real money to compete with others
-game is supposedly a free game, and really still not worth to spend so much money
-more dependancy on governments' decisions about to train/not to train you, less freedom in game for player
-HUGE disbalance for small and less wealthy countries in RL, thuse game becomes pointless for many of them
Overall, I hardly see anything postitive about this "feature"
It's just easier to fund FM with 24 force already than the newbie captain with 5 force.
Anyway players with big ranks>low-ranked ones.
But by training the new guy who is really involved (like I was) then you have yet another tank that can do a ton of damage. Overall it is probably BETTER to fund these lower ranked people as the high ranked tank can only do so much damage. Don't get me wrong he will be able to do more damage but he can only heal once and use only 40 wellness boxes, which could be used to fund another tank. Once again there are to many losers crying about a feature few will use anyway. Those being the few who are rich and maybe some tanks who just want to get stronger. Even then they can't spend all that gold as they have to have it for wellness packs, weapons, food and so on and so forth.
In any case if the Admins do one thing, people cry about it for no fdamn reason. The Admins do something else to help what they done earlier and guess what? People are crying again. In this instance I have to say who cares about a new feature. It is their game. They made it. They have to make a living too and even if this might be to help them have more funds, who cares so long as it keeps the game free. Do not get me wrong. I do not wish too see things cost anything either, but you don't just have to buy the gold in order to have all the advantages. You can use gold to invest and make money or get some medals.
So before you vry foul to the admin, remember, this game is kept up by the people who pay for the gold to increase their stuff such as business expansion or weapons or (god forbid) their strength.

Nop.
This module increases the gap between rich and poor players. And this is bad for the balance between players, and between nations (Indians do not tend to have as much money as Americans). I do not see any argument refuting this simple objection. Gamma ("eRep"😉 has enough bias towards rich players already. This is one more. And this is bad.
it can be good for those who can afford it, but most players can't so it's not good for more players than it is good for.
if the Admins are looking to cull the players who enjoy the game for free by making the game less enjoyable for them, then this is a great module for them.

How about this. Go QQ in a corner and cry yourself to sleep. This is a way for them to support the game. You think this game is free to them? No. They have expenses just like you and me. Using this they can make some money to help support the game you love.
George, you aren't required to pay for any training. You are acting as if suddenly the only way to train was to pay gold; not so. Now if you have gold laying around you can get more productive training, true, but you will still be fine if you don't pay gold. Freaking out over nothing.
When a bunch of Gold-Funded "Parters" start knocking on eUsa's Door, then you will join us in a corner, crying.
Jacobo Gronaven, its not ONLY about USA this game can be supported mainly by Americans, Western Europeans and partially by Russians, may be Japanese, for the rest its a pointless game in which your "military" whatever call it, will mean almost nothing. For me 1 week will be clear if i should leave eRepublik or not.
Only time tells if someone is dedicated.
Buying this with gold is cheating.
IMO, the economic module should be fixe😛 you can only work for a company based in the region you live, unlike now where your employer can be anywhere in the country. The training was fine as it was.
I have no problem with admins making to increase their RL revenue, but they shouldn't tell us that change is for our own good - it is not! It is for their own RL pocket!
