New Program for Citizen-Soldiers

Day 901, 18:04 Published in Japan Japan by Japanese Imperial Army

As discussed in the after action report, Japan has two goals for a successful continuation of our current war with South Korea. We need to focus on citizen activity and citizen quality. The end result should be to increase our fighting population to 900 and to have most of those fighting with q1 weapons at high wellness.

Firstly, we need to make sure that citizens are informed and active in their fighting. Citizens should be presented with a wide variety of media outlets. To this end I encourage all private citizens to go out, collect the facts, and report them to the nation. JIF CO's will reward your hard work with votes and comments, as well as recognition from the outside world.

I would also like to see more people signing up for the forums at www.nipponblog.net/forums. There you can relay your thoughts to our elected officials and organize activities ranging from political to cultural to military.

The second part is making sure that our citizens are using their full power in the battlefield. The United States has for some time now equipped their citizens with q1 weapons for big fights in a program called Guns for Huns and we should implement this program in Japan to help out citizens as well. The requirements will be 3 str, Japanese citizenship, non-Field Marshall rank, and a history of fighting for Japan. In return you will receive 5 Q1 weapons to use in the battles against South Korea.

Of course we cannot call this Guns for Huns when we are facing Koreans. There have been several suggestions and I would like to start a poll to determine what we should call this Citizen Weapons Program. Our options currently are,

Shootas' for Mutas

Keep firing Soldier! Shoot them down before they can unleash their Glaive Wurms

Swords for Samurai

Even 5 Q1 Katanas can defeat a Q5

Knives for Ninja

This is what Koreans think a Ninja looks like

This is what they really look like. That is, if you ever saw them.
