New MPP, Import Taxes
Archibald
We have signed an MPP with the Czech Republic. We already share many similar allies with them, and I personally believe good MPP's make our country stronger. We have certainly seen that in the past, where foreign wars provided a boon to our economy and allowed our soldiers to earn victories to make themselves better fighters.
Import Taxes
A look through our markets will show you that prices are falling in every industry. This has put an end to concerns about inflation. I am now looking at raising import taxes in Food and Moving back to 99%. I will send proposals to Congress on these in the next few days. Now that supply is building up in our markets, we need to work to protect our domestic companies in certain industries.

Sounds like everything is going swimmingly!
pity you can\'t just do taxes on the q1 and q2 food, and leave the q3/q4 as low tax.
Yeah, I agree. That\'s the trade-off we\'re dealing with. We\'ll see how things look this afternoon.
Hail USA, Ally of the Republic!
The way I see it, by the time you start using Q4 food, you make enough to be able to afford being selective about who you buy from. Personally, I only buy from Dish\'s company

Protect the Domestic Weapons Market. In case of War, we don\'t want to rely on foreign producers because all the US makers went belly up.
What about Housing? Outside of Q4 we have plenty of domestic supply, yet rates are lowest. It\'s driving prices and therefore profitability in housing down.
I\'d like to see some of the lower Q companies move up a Q to 3 or 4 first, but it is a bit of a predicament when you need profits to move up a Q, but without no imports you can\'t make much profit, and then on top of that all we don\'t want to cut off supply.
good stuff archi
This is good stuff. How can the president only get 13 votes...
sorry to say but this needed to be done 10 days ago, and not in 5 days time.
food and housing need to go to 99% very very fast.
But the bigger issue is the lack of any good trade agreements
