Oṃ bhūr bhuvaḥ svaḥ

Namaste.

This headless chicken, stupid as she is, gave me the new … insight on this mission.
Seeing the countless pages of friend requests (that disturbed the peaceful tranquility of the e Ashram) I noticed that this madness affected players from all country so, I thought that instead messages like >

Please accept my friend request. I voted and subed you article. I’m your friend … etc
We should better use this kind of messages to better understand the beautiful part of each of us, of our civilizations.

And what better ambassador for the beauty could be, beside Akasha ?

So, today I will start with rhythms from … PORTUGUÊS.

I will be honest … I love the culture of Portugal language, either from Portugal or Brazil, as a beautiful part of the Iberic culture (wonderful novels, poems and … songs).

Brazil was a colony and seems to me even more colored than Portugal. More vibrant and more alive.

For example, they have a kind of music … more or less like US country music>
Nóis enverga mais não quebra from Gino e Geno
or
Peão Apaixonado = Passion of a peasant Rio Negro e Solimões

In contrast with that, in Portugal the traditional music became more … elevated>
Oh gente da minha terra = People of my country Mariza
A kind of sweet sad music, which could inflict even serious mental problem (weird, because Portugal is a wonderfull country, on Atlantic shore)
Locura = Madness Mariza (probably the best singer of … Fado (Portuguese music)

With a poet like Fernando Pessoa, that could (and had) write with so many personalities and styles, we could comprehend better what the effect of this kind of (Fado) music could have.
Same with “Blindness of Jose Saramago (it is a film also), this sweet bitter soul of Portugal is revealed (in this case even the socialist views helped a lot ).

On the other hand, Brazil literature, most famous through Paulo Coelho, have a kind of savage mysticism, a sort of passion combined with the rhythms of the Earth itself.
Younger writers like Bernardo Carvalho and Andrea Lisboa where more attracted by the US and global culture, but the strong feeling of life and colors of Brazil, mixed with a bit of mystics remained and is present on them works.

A last one song, from Brazil Chora, chora Gustavo Lima (was a hit few years ago).

Meri shubhkaamanaaye aapke saath hai !
