New Military Rank System

In the tradition of Lieutenant Scheisskopf, I thought I would add my first suggestion to the admins for some needed game changes. The original ranks served well for the first tenure of erepublik but with the addition of so many new players and more importantly the number of citizens achieving the highest ranks, the system should be redone to make reaching General and Field Marshal more of an accomplishment. Having dozens of Field Marshal's just doesn't make logical sense and waters down the rank.

Here is the current system:

3 Sergeant 750 to 1499 60% 1.6x
4 Lieutenant 1500 to 4499 80% 1.8x
5 Captain 4500 to 8999 100% 2.0x
6 Colonel 9000 to 24999 120% 2.2x
7 General 25000 to 74999 140% 2.4x
8 Field Marshal 75000+ 160% 2.6x

My suggestion would be to modify it to:

8 Brigadier Gen. 50000 to 79999 160% 2.6x
9 Major Gen. 80000 to 114999 180% 2.8x
10 Lt. Gen. 115000 to 149999 200% 3.0x
11 General 150000 to 199999 220% 3.2x
12 Field Marshal 200000+ 240% 3.4x


I know this would change a lot of your ranks and maybe some hurt feelings but it would add to the overall game and allow those who have passed 75k to continue working towards ranks.
