New Food Rules
Warfare analysis
The word of the day is "Food Fight!"
Wow, what happened? Suddenly the rules changed (again), and all players are confused. I hope this analysis will shed a little light ... and by tomorrow we will all know how much I got wrong

"100 more recoverable health in 0:54:32" Huh?
So, what is different? Yesterday, we got 450 health every 6 hours (with a Q4 Town Center, more with Q5, less with Q3). Call them "food fights." The 6-hour clock started as soon as we ran down our 450 health to 0 by fighting, eating, fighting, and eating some more. Theoretically, we could fight 4 times a day (24 / 6, get it?), but I doubt if many of us got 4 full fights in. If we fought and only used 440 health, the clock did not restart.
Today? We get 100 food fights per hour. Also, the clock starts as soon as we eat once, not after we use all 100. So yesterday, we fought to 0, then waited 6 hours for 450 more. And went again. Today we can wait 1 hour and fight 100 more.
So what does this mean for a good 2-clicker fighter? First, we do not have to throw down all 450 food fights at once. We can save some, so be more efficient. This will especially help heavy hitter players, who can impact more mini-battles. Lower level players can fight in more mini-battles, but don't have the power to really impact them unless they use all their fights at once.
This also means we can fight more ... 450*4 = 1800, but 100*24 = 2400. Theoretically.
All in all, this seems like a good thing. We no longer have to fight to zero every time. And we no longer have to wait 6 hours between fights. This allows us to distribute our fights more evenly and more smoothly. Being able to fight more, and more irregularly, may change some strategies that military units use. But I'll leave that to the big-head Generals. And it could complicate supplies. It could also lead to more weapons being used, boosting the economy. But I'll leave that to the big-head economists.

I actually like these updates
I still think that it is a mistake from the game admin strategy to have this round the clock thing... It makes the more active players advance even more vs the "2-clickers"
Player retention for the average "2-clicker" will be tougher now...
I'm finally starting to think more seriously about quitting. I'm never getting my hero medal now...

The only benefit from this change is that you get to recover the health even if you don't use all the recoverable health. I was stuck a couple of days ago with no money or food and 72 health to recover... Now it would recover 100/hr as soon as you consume any health.
But what is kind-of-wrong is the justification of saying that now you can participate in more mini-battles. Who does not try to put all their damage in whatever fight they are on???

If you want a hero medal you need to go on the road. Look for a battle that one side wants to loose and you will have less competition.
Thank you Emma, I'm just a committed soldier so I have not been able to break my ethics and go on a personal quest with military (or militia) supplied supplies...
Maybe I can try with my next energy bar when I get my promotion to General...

the thing is, all can boost up 100 per hour, but only the ones who had higher skills can have bigger tanking, if i wait, every 6 hours i have 60 fights, which also enables some strategy

Thanks Zeng He. It seems a lot of people were confused this morning by their posts.
WILLY: I think a lot of people (including me) were only fighting/using their max wellness 3 times a day instead of the max 4, thus utilizing only 18 hours worth of wellness. The only people who could do 4 were glued to their computer and obviously sleep less than 6 hours at a time. Like last night, I wasn't going to get up at 12:30 AM so I could fight. Changing to this way, they max out more fighting and energy usage. People may now use wellness 20 to 22 hours a day instead of only 18 as before. I am sure Plato is hoping this relates to more people spending more money to buy more G O L D.
