New Era - Time for Answers

Good Afternoon.

When I started becoming involved in eUK politics again, about a month and a half ago, I was concerned by the division that existed between the two main power blocks: The Unity Party and New Era. I believed that this situation derived from a failure to listen above all else, and that that was the root cause of the incredibly hostile political environment we find ourselves in today.

After this time, I have come to the conclusion that the root cause of this mess is the foundation of New Era in September 2012. Now, do not mistake this article for the bias and bitter rhetoric of an 'Oldfag' - I am nothing of the sort. I am a player who has returned, and tried to judge New Era fairly. Hell, I nearly even joined them in June, I mean who doesn't find the rhetoric of 'change' appealing? And it goes without saying the food and weapons New Era hand out to bribe you into joining them.

One of the key 'messages' that New Era spout is that New Players don't have their voice heard in the 'old' parties, and are never given a chance. This is a lie. I have been an active player for only a month and a half and have already been welcomed into two Political Parties, run for CP and I'm now a first-time Congressman for ESO.

The New Era message is one of hysterical scaremongering, to manipulate new players into joining them by lambasting 'old cheating players' as the root cause of all the eUK's problems. This is shown by the name they've given their new 'alliance'- TACO: The Anti Cheating Organization. In the article announcing this, Jamie2721 states:

"The TACO alliance, is a counter measure to the new Political Freedom League or as I have named it The Political Forum League, a small group of forum players overtaking all party's outside the top two New Era and TUP, This is where these parties decisions are now going to be made, hidden and tucked away in some dark corner of the forum".

This is a lie. There is no small group of 'Forum players' plotting to PTO every party from three down, and New Era cannot produce one scrap of evidence to say otherwise. Yes, the Forum of the new Alliance is Private, but so is every other party's including New EraThey are no more secretive than New Era, and to suggest otherwise is sheer hysterical lunacy.

The Second point of the TACO article is:

"TACO will be fighting such diseases as thief from the government, mass old cheating accounts voting during elections and the on going wave of Corruption, bullying and trolling in the eUK."

Very vague inferences about 'mass cheating accounts' here, and again this was shown to be a hypocritical statement. In the comments below this article Commander Dapper, a senior New Era figure highlighted five such 'cheating' accounts. None of these accounts were banned. In fact at the last congressional election New Era and their kid brothers the Freemasons lost six votes due to multi accounting- more than every other party put together.

Ah yes, the Freemasons. The second independent party in the TACO coalition. Or are they? In a recent PM leaked in this articleThe PP of New Era at the time, wigibob, clearly acknowledges the fact that Freemasons are not an independent party and they are a puppet party of New Era. I have never encountered any policies of the Freemasons, so I thought i'd go and look at their wiki page for an outline of their Policies, I mean every top 5 party would have a wiki page right?

Right?



Wrong. And if you watch any Freemasons member in the comments sections of articles, the default setting is just to support New Era and it's elite inner circle in all that they say. The fact that a party has risen to the top 5 without any kind of discernible policy other than recruitment through hysterical, nonsensical ravings in the comments sections of articles. And by handing out freebies to new players.

So, why do New Era want to have a version two in the top five of the parties? To immorally gain more Congress seats. Last month New Era had 10 Congress members, now it has 13, through gaining five from the Freemasons. Splitting their membership like this has allowed New Era to dishonestly gain extra Congress seats and deny legitimate political parties the chance to elect Congressman off their own ticket. This is outrageous. And it will get worse if we don't wake up.

The RDP. Created by BigAnt after his failed PTO of the Round Table on the 15th of this month, where he resorted to bribery and still lost to a week old player, who his party claim to champion. The RDP has produced no policy at all, and has been moaning about the eUK, without offering any credible alternatives to anything, in fact they've not even stated specifically is bad with the eUK let alone try and fix it. They are New Era version three, currently on course for the top five through sensationalist rhetoric, with no policy substance. But here's the thing, what if the RDP reach the top 5, and gain Congressman?

You'd end up with 'TACO' having pushing on for half of Congress and if they could gain a majority in Congress they could essentially render any kind of Democracy useless and run the country as they wish. If an unfriendly TUP (as an example) President were voted in, they could simply impeach immediately in favour of the New Era candidate in 2nd place.

That is a theoretical scenario and has no solid evidence, but what other motives can making Puppet parties have other than a systematic PTO of the eUK?

And that brings us back to that TACO manifesto, and their nice little tagline in the words of Commander Dapper:

Freemason , New Era and R.D.P the one true honest alliance .

Right. Honesty. Is that why BigAnt, the most infamous New Era member (he's now party president of New Era 3.0), attempted to have our CP impeached by making up a blatant lie about him stealing money:




And there you are. The case against New Era. I have not trolled, I have applied reasonable logic and used evidence to back up my claims. I stand by everything I have said, and yup, I've criticized New Era and I've called them out on everything they stand for. It is about time that New Era were put under the same scrutiny and pressure as the rest of us, but no doubt their members will try and deflect blame onto somebody else rather than provide answers to the damning evidence presented to them.

I have never liked the 'them and us' mentality but I'm afraid that is what it has come down to, and that is what New Era have created. You are to blame.
