New Congressmen: Please support the Kokawa Jinja!

Day 523, 05:08 Published in Japan Japan by TheMakoto

First of all, congratulations to all new members of Congress and a good start into your new office. May you serve Japan prudently and loyally!

Usually it is customary for members of the Japanese Congress to donate their money to the national treasury, to further the aims of Japan and directly assist the government with new money to fund its endeavors. However, this time around I wish to ask you for a small consideration.

As you might or might not know, the Kokawa Jinja project has been successfully running for quite some time now thanks to the generous donations of people such as InfernoSD, Tohru and many other people - a genuine effort of the entire Japanese community. What is the Kokawa Jinja?

Well, in a nutshell, it is a non-profit organization, aiming to bring free gifts to the Japanese workforce and thus increasing the overall economic output of the Japanese economy. Many citizens and thus, their general managers, have thus far already benefited from this program, which is an unique proof of the cooperation and unity within the Japanese community. This community cooperation is one of the strong points a rather small country such as Japan has to offer - attracting new workers and keeping new players in the game by getting support right from the start.

Now, as the gifts are being given out for free, no revenue is being generated by the company, and the workers still need to be payed - although it should be mentioned that people such as Geno Garon essentially work for no wage to support this project and the Japanese people, which is most recommendable. Even then however, this is not enough.

Members of Congress, I ask you to consider donating at least some of the gold you got by being elected to the Kokawa Jinja. As Secretary of Labor I can guarantee you that your money will be put to use for a good cause. If all new members of Congress would donate only one gold, it would be enough to ensure the continued supply with raw materials and would even provide for increasing the wages of the workers, thus creating a higher consumer potential as well as rewarding those that work in this project.

If you want to donate, please send your gold to this organization. I will compose a list of donors in the next days. Thank you for your consideration of contributing to an unique community project!
