Join the new world

In the nick of time I am officially announcing my run for congress in Eastern Thailand, under the FUP banner. Things have changed since the last election. The country has had to fight of something that can only be described as eTerrorism, and the union with Thailand is no more. Together we have overcome and will continue to overcome such hardships now under the flag of a reborn eMalaysia. My stances do not differ from the FUPs, or any other major party for that matter, so I will only point out areas where we can make substantial improvement.

National Security
During the last month military organization in eFRoSEA has gotten more attention than earlier mostly due to Alfagrems RW attempts. As a relatively new nation we do not have the military power as others, but with the help of our allies and the unity of our people we have managed to fight of Alfagrem with little effort. However our official military, TDM, has not reached its full potential. Recruitment isn’t going fast enough and some of the members are not active on the boards and IRC, meaning their commanders are having a hard time getting orders out. We need to send out recruitment messages to as many citizens as possible and those willing to join the military should go through a screening process where those who are active will be a part of the official military, while those less active will be assigned to a reserves unite.

Social Affairs (migration & education)
A number of our citizens, some more, some less prominent, are no longer a part of eMalaysia due to the breakup of the union. We have lost both competence and work force. Citizen recruitment should therefore be one of the top priorities. It’s not easy to get all of the new players to stay, and it’s even harder to get experienced players to move to eMalaysia without a hidden agenda. Here the immigration office can do a better job promoting the country, and with the education program currently being planned by the MoE things will look better. We need more of our older players involved in this to achieve a greater result.

Economy & Foreign Affairs
The reason I’m putting these two together is simpler than it looks. We have done well in both areas and I see no reason for bigger changes. I did not and do not fully support the entry of PEACE and EDEN nations in our war games, but I realize the necessity to keep the costs down, so I approve of the decision as things stand today.
