National Forums Update

Good morning Ireland!

As I just finish my pot of coffee. Many of you are concerned about the recent security flaws on our national forums. A member of our society was impersonating other players using a third party to hide his IP address. I’ve tracked down the IP address with the help of Kaptain Kidd and I have reached the conclusion that it was (obvious answer) Release the Krakken. I’m not going to say any more about that so I leave you to judge.

To optimise our security on the national forums Punistick has been working hard to gain access to an API key from the admins. With this API key this will allow us to verify that each registered account isn’t a fraud. Once we have the API key it will be quickly implemented so for now we will continue to use the captcha to protect the forum from bots.

If you have any ideas or questions on how to improve our national forums let us know by posting a comment below and myself or Punistick will happily answer. Apart from Release the Krakken 😉

The person who keeps complaining there is weak security and about the captcha challenge? I am shocked, shocked I tell you!!

Also the person who has said he considers the attacks to be a good thing since they show potential problems....

You have no proof that its me. Also to explain its not me. But anyway who decided it is the "National" forum.

I would say the person helped you stupid heads a bit as you have changed it twice now and still cant get it right.

For the record there is a million dollar forum available to you all free . Far right of your bottom links. Just post in the appropriate section and add the [IRELAND] tag if you want it to be for players of Ireland only.
