My run for President of the AAP
Leo Ruby
As you know, current president of the AAP Evan Bayh is facing criticism for his poor leadership of the party, causing many of the party's members to challenge him. I have always been one of Mr. Bayh's staunchest supporters, but I feel that we must have a new leader in office. It is for that reason that I am running for Party President of the AAP.
I am doing many things for Tallahssee that no other mayor of our city has, such as building a hospital, creating a lottery, and a health care and unemployment system. I beleive that I have the neccessary experience to run for PP, and that I could sow the party back together after the in-fighting that has plagued it in the latter days of Mr. Bayh's presidency.
What would I do, you may ask?
I would respond to all questions and comments regularly and help anyone who needs help in eRepublik, in the AAP or not.
I would create an in-party health care system to heal our party's less fortunate members.
I would create a new party-run company, similar to the one a few months ago, but in the food industry as it is more profitable.
I would re-arrange the congressional positions based on that persons activity within the party and political experience.
Well, that's all for now.
I wish everyone the best of luck in the elections, although I wish myself a little bit more, and leave the rest to the people.
Sincerely,
Leo Ruby

hmm, interesting ideas that will do well against Evan\'s old regime. Anyway, now it\'s time for me to make my input about your ideas.
1. very good, it\'s something that I\'m sure all active candidates such as yourself and HEM will do a good job on. yet something i do even though I\'m not PP or anything lol.
2. health care is good however what is we would end up giving it to citizens that are or would become inactive? Also funding for this could pose a slight issue, which may require some extra donations from within the party. Also, personally i would focus more on getting our new citizens jobs... however it probably wouldn\'t be a problem for V1.
3. Excellent idea, however use of it will have to be different from what we\'ve seen in Beta for party owned companies. First off, in V1 new citizens have to get a job and get exp up before they can join a party, so it won\'t really be about getting mew party members a job, but getting new citizens a job and encouraging them to join the party afterward. also, i would advise against making it a food company, as in V1 it will be more important to get raw materials out, so i suggest taking a look at the regional bonuses chart and starting an appropriate raw materials company for the party instead of some of the Beta companies.
4. as long as it\'s based on activity and political experience I\'m fine 😉
also, i think you should recognize the threat of Albania 😃
anyway, I end this rant with a shameless add,
Vote Citizen HEM for AAP Party President!
Thank you Sam, I will consider all of that.
