Dear citizens of the eUK,
Due to the recent proposal of natural enemy-ing Ireland being a blatant breech of protocol I here by resign as a congress member for the South West of England. Please don’t judge me harshly just for making this one mistake in my first term of congress but my mind is set.
To the current Congress men and women,
I apologise for the inconvenience that my stupid act has caused, please forgive me for my rash proposal. I hope that you can still keep the peace with Ireland and continue to keep the eUK great.

Innocent mistakes happen, fair play to you for falling on your sword, people will probably think higher of you for this mistake and your actions.

Resignation was unnecessary, mistakes happen. Hopefully you wont be put off and you will run again.

breeches are what you wear. Breach is what you mean. On the other hand you made a mistake you'll be all right. It's not like you can resign in game anyway.
Good to see that you took it seriously (better to much than to less), but indeed no need to resign.
