First and foremost, thank you Dublin!

I am now your humble Teachta Dála in the Dáil Éireann and am looking forward to living up to my word. To my opponents I offer my greatest appreciation.

In my previous article, when I announced my candidacy, the most important thing I wanted to convey to my constituents (and to Ireland in general) is that I really am a veritable ideological rogue. I don't bow to any politician, or any politician's agenda. I will therefore restate my pledge to remain as politically-independent now as I have always been before.

Ireland is at a crossroads. We can choose to remain infinitely neutral or we can choose to take a stand in the New World. My understanding of the basic tenets of diplomatic and military neutrality is that it is born out of economic freedom (more than anything else). Issues regarding militarism are more-or-less examples of collateral benefits... which is another way of saying fear of being clobbered. This, of course, is why I think logical and intelligent MPPs are at the forefront of Ireland's forward movement.

I suppose a principal element of my agenda is counter-balancing the dissolution of PEACE GC by establishing a Fortis-like defensive alliance with the United Kingdom. Look what's been happening in Argentina. When PEACE gets behind a nation, they immediately vault said nation to top ten status by moving there, building up the wall(s), and tanking like crazy.

However, that's all beside the point now that PEACE is officially dead. The point I'd be making is that a defensive alliance with the United Kingdom would provide us with incentive not to be attacked. Setting up a defensive MPP with France would also add some interesting strategic angles to show EDEN that they aren't going to be able to walk about Europe and Asia in the same manner they continuously criticized PEACE for doing.

I have proposed a new economic model for Ireland's immediate future on the eIrish forum. Other than that, I'd entertain the unification of Ireland by annexing Northern Ireland. Though, such a task would be considerably daunting until we improve Ireland's economy to a higher ranking than 33rd.

Vote and subscribe to The Long Bow to keep tabs on me if you'd like. It'll be my primary outlet for posting my complete voting record every week; along with my reasoning behind each vote. I'll also continue writing my trademark terse, inflammatory, yet barely offensive articles that'll undoubtedly draw inane denouncements and faux outrage from my numerous formalized enemies. I pledge complete transparency for this term and any terms I am elected to in the future. And, rest assured... that, beyond anything else I've said, I will never cower from any constituent nor any question I'm ever asked.

With that said, I look forward to serving the people of Ireland and doing whatever I can to ensure Ireland's continued growth.
