My Pledgifesto

Day 670, 16:07 Published in Ireland Japan by Donovan Thomas

It is with this “Pledgifesto” that I place myself on the ballot for Congress in Dublin. My name is Donovan Thomas and I currently have the honor of serving on President Patton’s cabinet as Minister of Information.

You may know that I am an Independent and member of Independent Voices. I have been very active, awake and vocal from birth and shall continue to be so. If you honor me with your vote and I have the pleasure of representing you in the Dáil I pledge to represent your interests first. It is my belief that those in the Dáil serve at the behest of their constituents, and it is their constituent’s desires that come first.

If you choose me to represent you I further pledge to answer every PM from the residents of Dublin and open a thread in the national forum where the populace of Dublin can make their desires known, and it is those desires that I shall carry to the Dáil.

My vote in the Dáil is your vote; it is your voice manifest in mine. I would be but a vessel to carry your needs to the floor.

As an independent I have varied views. And though it is your views that matter the most to me I will share some of mine with you here.

-As a soldier first, I believe in a strong, well trained and knowledgeable military. This means not only training our fellow citizens to fight and heal, but teaching them the dynamic and strategy behind it.

-I believe in our continued neutrality and support of other non-aligned sovereign and neutral nations while remaining awake and vigilant to numerous threats in our eWorld.

-I believe in continued war games to boost not only our citizen’s rank and experience, but to boost our local economy as well.

-As a private business owner I believe in healthy competition, but most of all in buying Irish and keeping the gold in our coffers whenever possible.

-I believe our state companies coupled with our Ministry of New Citizens provide a valuable service in retaining new citizens and grooming them for higher levels and should be supported whenever possible.

-I believe in a low but effective minimum wage that allows new citizens to thrive without creating a hole in the private sector.

-I believe in full transparency of government where it does not negatively affect National Security.

-Most of all I believe everyone has a voice and a right to be heard. I believe that our diverse beliefs make us stronger and should be celebrated.

I would like to thank you for taking the time to read this and hope that your will support me in my quest to further dedicate myself to eIreland and her people. I am standing by to answer any questions you may have via comments or PM and hope that you will Vote Donovan Thomas in Dublin this week.

Very Respectfully,

Donovan Thomas
