My Plan to End the eFrance War
Addy Lawrence
I notice that I'm slipping behind in the polls. I need a push.
There is only one thing that I haven't done and that is reveal my plan to end the eFrance war. If I'm going to lose this election, I don't want to lose it with a "woulda, coulda, shoulda", so here is my plan.
Problem Statement
The threat of something bad is often worse than the bad thing itself. It has been my experience in RL that squarely facing the bad thing, and in some cases triggering it in a controlled setting, is often the best way to resolve the situation.
With this in mind, I will outline my master plan to end the eFrance war.
First a disclaimer, I did not come up with this plan however I take full accountability for it as I completely endorse this course of action. To the extent this plan draws accolades or warrants recognition, I will cite the SINGLE source who concieved of this plan and shared it with me.
Defining element: The surrender of Nunavut to eFrance and subsequent reclaimation of it and other territories.
What better way to turn a foul relationship with eFrance into a positive one by opening our arms and allowing eFrance to suckle from one of our tits?
Step One: Operation Stomp-Elysees
Step 01 eCanada attacks Pays, eFrance retreats
Step 02 eCanada attacks Valley de la Loire, eFrance retreats
Step 03 eCanada attacks Paris, eFrance surrenders (this region is held as security for remaining steps)
Step 04 eFrance companies in Paris buy 5g export licenses into eCanada at will
Step Two: Operation Nursemaid (let eFrance suck our tit)
Step 05 eFrance attacks Nova Scotia, activates MPP's, eCanada retreats
Step 06 eFrance attacks Newfoundland, eCanada retreats
Step 07 eCanada oil companies in Newfoundland buy export licenses to eFrance for 5g
Step 08 eFrance attacks Nunavut, eCanada retreats
Step 09 eCanada diamond companies buy export licenses to eFrance for 5g
Step 10 eFrance venture capitalists buy diamond companies in eFrance occupied Nunavut with built in licenses to eFrance
Step Three: Operation Frere Jacques (eFrance = Bro)
Step 11 eCanada raffles off resistance war medals for Nunavut, Newfoundland and Nova Scotia
Step 12 eFrance raffles off resistance war medals for "seque" and Paris
Step 13 over the course of successive days, five RW occur to liberate NU, NF, NS, Paris & Segue
Step 14 eCanada retains Pays
Step 15 eFrance attacks Delaware, eUS retreats
Step 16 eCanada and eFrance pass a peace treaty ending the eFrance war and closing MPPs on both sides
Step 17 eCanada gives eFrance a replacement hospital for the one lost in Paris
Step 18 eCanada commissions the construction of hospitals to replace the ones lost in the military campaign
Step 20 Pays is maintained as an eCan territory to facilitate training battles and extend the eNorth American border into eEurope
Here are the things I like about it:
This would establish a tremendous about of good faith between eFrance and eCanada, it would likely keep them out of Phoenix and move them toward a bro candidate!
There are at least 12 meaningful battles to fight. Sure, the yare !! but the damage will be real and each side should bring it to ensure the proper outcome.
The domestic economy will be stimulated through the trade of war.
The domestic economy will be stimulated through the replacement of infrastructure.
The domestic economy will be stimulated by opening up the eFrance marketplace (no war and more export licenses).
The side benefits of this war create a lot of trading potential with eFrance.
The cost of the war will be offset by the proceeds of the raffles for the four resistance war medals.
The cost of the war will also be offset by the proceeds of sale from the hospital sold to eFrance
eCanada will indefinitely push its border into eEurope by holding Pays.
Holding Paris as an excellent "good faith" security deposit so that eFrance sticks to the plan
Our MPP's get activated so the playing field is leveled quite a bit
Here are the things I don't like about it:
eFrance could change its mind once it gains Nunavut and start a nasty war.
This is a complicated plan involving many steps and something could go wrong if one of eFrance's allies decides to take advantage of the situation.
This plan will by and large meet the trade treaty objective of the existing 350 + treaty offer, resultantly, when comparing the 350 cost in gold to the cost in gold to pull off this plan, it would be CHEAPER to take the offer on the table, however, my plan is much more exciting, fun, and demonstrative of the good faith that could be established between eFrance and eCanada.
Here are the things about this plan that are moot:
eFrance's allies could get agressive while eFrance is on our conditent. I would argue that this is a moot point because at any time right now, eFrance's allies could get aggressive and go after our Tits. It would be in eFrance's best interests to maintain neutrality with us and with Phoenix so that they could move diamonds from Nunavut to France, process them into gifts/armour, and trade them with their partners.
It's your choice

...or you can dare to be different, walk out onto a limb, and make some serious stuff happen.

"First a disclaimer, I did not come up with this plan however I take full accountability for it as I completely endorse this course of action."
Who did?
I will take all the blame if this is not well received and I will pass along all the credit to one person if this is well received.
I do not want to discredit the person now in the event this is a disaster.
I have not lied at all in this campaign, I've told you I had a plan, now I'm revealing it, I'd ask for your patience while I protect the credibility of this person as this news breaks.
This is not the plan I expected under the title Stomp-Elysees.😁
However: why would they want to buy Canadian export licenses? You brougth 99% import taxes to Canada and from my understanding [could be wrong], you do not plan on changing it. So what would France get from this risky deal?
i actually like this plan. everything hinges on France proceeding in good faith. If they didn't though it would be fun to stomp the shit outta them after they activate our mpps
btw: I actually voted for this article.
I want to congratulate on your realy good campaign (well, maybe you should have explained your stomp-elysees plan earlyer because one [meaning I] does expect something completely different behind it.).
But I realy did like the part were you answered yesterdays questions in todays edition of your campaign article. I believe this technique will live on in future elections.
I voted for the article but I'm greedy and I'll hold onto my vote cause its mine and no one else's.
The brave may not live long but the meek don't live at all.
This daring plan has my support.
M'eh, when I think of "Stomp" I actually think of, ya know... stomping...
hmmmm
Not sure I trust eFrance as far as I can throw them. To hand them a Titanium region and "hope" they co-operate is a massive...perhaps THE most massive risk available to us.
I won't comment further other than to say I do not support this approach.
Good Luck Addy!
Before we "lend" them a titanium region they would have activated our MPP's, we would have the benefit of our allies support.
Did you consider that?
Also, our export taxes are not 99% for manufactured goods, export licenses to eCanada would be a good thing for eFrance.
I like Operation Stomp Elysées and Operation Frère Jacques but I'm not sure about letting eFrance that far into eCanada. The French hate us, so they would probably continue attacking. Sure, we have MPP's but so do they.
Three words: Ain't gonna work.
Never trust a frog.
"Never trust a frog", Adasko.
And we wonder why eFrance wanted 1,000 gold for a treaty.
I'm proposing to build a relationship with them, to be vulnerable in exchange for them being vulnerable, and then building on the faith placed in each other. Never trust a frog is such a strong statement as to what is currently wrong with our foreign policy.
When are we going to reach for that brass ring?
Our existing government just lost 2,600 gold, I was a significant part of raising 2,000 of that gold. I am devastated. And now this? Never trust a frog? My whole premise is to build a relationship with them predicated on trust.
It's all shiny and beautifull but here's the catch:
One thing, France MPP😛hoenix, Canada MPP=Eden.
If we start a World War (one of the only few thing entertaining in erep) we'll open up a war again france and all those beautifull license will be useless because of the trade embargo.
The plan will faill because France won't forget about all their allies for your pretty eyes.
Avec quelques ''si'', ça peut marcher.
En espérant que l'Espagne veuille bien demeurer passifs pendant que se déroule cette possible opération...

We have a lot op people in eCanada who enjoy a boring game?
What the F is wrong with this place?
Seems like a lot of the issues people are bringing up could be avoided if after we take Paris the eFrance make signs a peace deal, then we let them take Nova Scotia. That way it's only them against our MPPs and we can push them back out easily if they get cute.
But as a side note I think whoever came up with this plan is a genius. It's probably the single greatest military strategy in the history of the game, and the person should be given accolades on the highest level. Their name should ring from every street corner and rooftop from St. John's to Alert to Vancouver and back again.
But that's just my opinion. 🙂
"But I realy did like the part were you answered yesterdays questions in todays edition of your campaign article. I believe this technique will live on in future elections."
I'd like to second that. A fantastic campaign all around, but I especially like this touch.
Neither Addy will give you a different answer about our two plans: We both acknowledge that my plan has a higher chance of probability and a higher floor, and that his has a lower chance of probability and a higher ceiling. The only difference is I value the former, and Addy the latter.
and with all due respect
Dade's plan is boring and 30 days of more of the same.....
Let's play the Status Quo game!
Whoever can keep things the same for the longest wins.
eCanada is the reigning champion.
And here I thought people played the game to have fun, joke's on me I guess.
The plan isn't as dangerous as it sounds.
If things go bad, and the French decide they like staying in Nunavut, the US could always be swapped through to clean them out.
Or we could just RW them.
They are the French after all.
The US wouldn't need to be swapped. They have borders with Nova Scotia. Whoever thought of this plan probably took that into consideration as a "worst case scenario" solution.
@PimpDollaz
France put up over a million points of damage trying to regain Rhone-Alps.
um... and if france decides to screw us over and start WWIV (or whichever we're on by now. sorry, im new 🙂)... then what happens? addy, sorry, but i feel this plan is horrid and i would rather not risk all of ecanada on a fantasic gamble. dade you have my vote.
Zach, you are showing your "level 8" in that comment
WWIV would be the best, most interesting thing to happen to eCanada in a long, long time
Part of what is great about Addy's plan was that France might in fact screw us over...
Regardless of the fact that in WWIII we were wiped off the map, it was the funnest and most interesting time in the history of eCanada
You don't know what you have missed out on with your vote
VOTE ADDY!
@shadow6463.
What's your point?
They lost that battle.
We figure out a way to bring more damage than them.
It's not that hard.
Rolo, please don't talk down to Zach. He's allowed to formulate his own opinion about whether or not he wants his country to take risks no matter what his level.
If a new World War were to be started, it would technically be WWVI.
I understand and appreciate your opinion that WWIII is fun Rolo, but I have to respectfully disagree. I hated being occupied, and my activity declined during this period. I'd have a heck of a lot more fun occupying someone else 😉 With V2 around the corner, that very well may be a possibility.
he doesnt talk down, he is just merely stating you can not have a well-informed opinion without knowing all the details, and him having his opinion over the war would be fairly different if he was here in the past, which i think most of us agree on, cause lets get real, wars make this game fun
The idea that everybody loved being occupied is crazy. Just because those who had fun during that decade scream the loudest, does not make it rigth for the mayority of the people. Also I can't remember anyone shouting "Ontario is lost, woot! woot!".
Agree with Chucky on this, it will not work because we are in different alliances and on opposite sides of MPPs.
Even though we might not be directly at war, wars in Eastern Europe will always activate a trade embargo, and we know those battles start up all the time
Wouldn't it be simpler to move the capital? Can you even still do that?
For the record, no one loved being occupied, but what was fun was the joint group effort and camaraderie in trying to prevent it, and then when it happened, joining together to get it back
Why would we want to stop the war?
🙂
I ain't letting the the french into NS!
Pourquoi faire cette guerre ? Les Français commence a en avoir assez de ceci... Vous êtes plutôt débiles de vous lancer dans une guerre déjà perdue...
"why would they want to buy Canadian export licenses? You brougth 99% import taxes to Canada and from my understanding [...], you do not plan on changing it."
+1 🙂
Moreover, if you want eFrance to have a look at your plan I suggest you :
Step 1 : Operation Nursemaid
Step 2 : Operation Stomp-Elysees
...Anyway, I don't think eFrance wants to stop the war.
Maybe we should just make the people who opened it pay the bill?
@Rolo,
I would hardly call people starting up private armies as an act of vanity a group effort, plus what happened to eCanada afterwards (becoming a second rate nation in an alliance with no say over its own army and foreign affairs, not to mention the total cesspit of corruption this eCountry has become) made us weaker than we was before.
@Muglack,
Stealing the country's money isn't fun to everyone muglack, neither is defending the people who take what isn't theirs for reasons nothing more than political party.
@Dylan Fraser,
Because this war if continued can only end in tears.
@Gaidal,
It was Chucky's EDEN that got us into this mess, the same EDEN that would be horrified if we close their little Canadian/French sideshow on our own initiative.
Both plans have merit but a deal must be struck with the French if only to show the eWorld we truly are our own leaders.
